I’m just not sure how they can prove the separation of Ksa and pif or provide any type of assurances that would give comfort to the PL. Other than that, I’m hopeful something can be reached. My overall optimism is pretty low though, and I’ve always been part of team “it’s going to happen”.

Quite simple. Still interested, but opportunity presents a reality of the vision to acquire a football team or investment into it. Tony's article + Ben's tweets today have been quite reassuring that it isn't all doom and gloom. Staying in the PL is still the #1 priority and hopefully the rest falls into place.

In my head, he seems to be very focused on Middle East ties and seems to stuck on building a relationship with PIF or contacts that come with doing a deal with them. So an irrational thought (hope) I have is that he knows he will take a haircut on price and will do a deal with them in the Champ if that happens to us. So if Tony’s article is accurate and my assumption on Mike’s eyes on Middle East retail expansion - this could maybe all make sense. If only we could get confirmation of all that, I’d be fine with whatever happens until then

I'm sure whenever the PIF deal came about he dragged his feet before agreeing to it...and when it didn't eventually happen last season and he stuck with Bruce, he signed himself up for more risk to getting his 300m+. If we get relegated, fuck the takeover, its all on MA not acting on the signs of free fall. He's had hundreds of days to sack Bruce and do the right thing and keep the club comfortably in the PL, and he did not. He's gambled, or he's let Charnley make the decision and Charnley has not. Whatever it is, it's on him.

Don't even think he look particularly that great in the German league either. Literally could have signed Rondon, ASM and an "expensive" CM and we'd have been looking far different.
