He isn't an attacking midfielder Well what the f*** is he? Best position is probably one of the sides in a midfield three I would say. Certainly not as a number 10 Correct, he's best next to someone who sits with legs to get side to side to cover for him as he makes his lung bursting runs forward. Ideally the other guy in the midfield 3 isn't bombing forward as much as he is if he's getting up the pitch.

An awful player doesn't score 12 goals. I agree tha the wasn't up to his normal standards, but let's be honest, if Willian is your best player during a season and by quite a distance something is wrong with the team. Costa is a very good player, despite being a despicable human being. Costa is one of the most ruthless finishers I've seen in a long time in the PL. That Liverpool finish (i think the first season) where he hesitated just a few extra seconds to smack it in was a beauty for anyone who admires the craft of a great finisher.

There's probably a chance he plays the 10 and with Mane and Coutinho out wide they'll play Firminho or Sturridge up top. Rotation wise Firminho, Coutinho, Mane, and Gini playing the #10 or out wide.
