I'd go with that - plus I'm bored sh*tless with the football we play under Roeder.

I'd prefer a younger, hungrier player, one on the up rather than down - Viduka is a good player, but I question for how much longer. I also think striker is still a priority as Sibierski and Dyer aint strikers - good fill ins at times but not strikers.

I don't think you can blame tactics for our second half display. I simply put it down to our confidence being shot after the penalty and numerous other good chances. I thought Roeder's substitutions were good ones and signalled his intent to get something from the game. I am of the opinion that hoofing long balls, cutting out the wide men are tactics.

The tactics in the second half were a total disgrace and for me sums up Roeder - take away the good intentions and the nice guy - a manager clueless tactically.

Good player, done very well for us this year but is badly needing a rest. I'm one of the harshest critics going when it comes to individual players but slagging Milner off is a bit harsh I think.

I am amazed at some people's attitudes towards Luque. How people can criticise him given his superb youtube history added to the passionate and consistent performances he has put in while he has been here - quite franky astounds me. The pace, guile, physical effort and overall contribution to games makes Steven Gerrard look like a Sunday League player. Luque for captain!

Completely agree - although I would like a player who isn't juts seen as a back up but vying for a berth and thus stop anyone getting complacent.

Lets not kid oursleves, they are going to have a good bit of cash to spend, they already have a good manager and a very good nucleus of a squad - the only way they are going is up.

Jesus, compared to what we have now and considering people like Martin O'Neil are turning us down - I would have him like a shot!

Agree with all that, apart form Duff, he hasn't looked particularly fast and I fear his pacey days are behind him.

We were lucky against Spurs and Villa. Then not so lucky against Fulham. Thats the kind of run i fear Roeder is mainly going to be capable of taking us on. Yeah we were lucky against those teams, but when you've had the bad luck we've had this year with injuries and what not, we deserve a bit of luck now and then. Not disagreeing with that, what I feel it does is cover up the inadequacies of both our squad and our current manager and give false hope - christ, some people still think we can get a top 6 spot! Give me a break!
