Seeing Eto'o play for Man City would truly depress me. Especially when you know it won't be for football reasons. To be fair to Eto'o, you could say it is for 'family reasons". He is the only hope of his big, big family and during interview he admit that he has to earn enough to ensure all his relatives can have a normal life.

Mark Douglas will not give out any info that will affect our potential signings, especially for those in crucial stage. So if we did have talks with Bendtner, probably we are very closed to agreeing both the fees and the contract and the deal will wrap up very soon.

wouldn't that go for other clubs aswell ? That's why I think Wigan is asking for too much and no one have made a bid

Smith would have no chance to leave this summer. Yes he will be released next year but that's not accounted for now - not saying I agree with that but just I know Ashley would not be that lenient. Xisco --- the club does not want to loan out anymore, but no club wants to pay for him obviously Loven/Stroller/Best --- what club would spend money on them? If it's for free, we better just keep them for our own use.

Impossible, this one.

seriously ian, seriously? taking devils advocate to the extreme here like If wages are not considered, I'd agree with Ian.

I honestly believe Colo and Jonas should start for Argentina.

I don't think we have to "fear" for not signing Erdinc.

Seriously?

How is Neymar terrible? I think he is the best performer last night. He got trible-team defending everytime and still able to create chances man...

You should sell Cesc to Man City or Real Madrid.

A counter example for the "international team performance is irrelevant" is Zidane. He nearly won the WC2006 for France by himself despite having a poor squad and a shit coach. I am pretty sure if Zidane won the WC2006, he would be considered as similar level as the two greats. Messi is a sensational player but unless he can do similar wonders at international level he will not be considered as the greatest player, not even close to Pele and Maradona. The problem is, not only these two legends made the national team the World champion, even the likes of Beckenbauer and Zidane have done that before. There is a question that Messi cannot answer: why did those legends can turn their team into World champion but he cannot? You can blame his teammates, his coach, the tactics, whatsoever, but the question still exists, because there were precedents.

Should we count Abeid as well? Or it's still not yet confirmed?

He is the Argentinian player of the year I remember?
-
Just hypothetical, should we sign him for 8m if there's similar clause?

Just curious, what does "Chinese whispers" mean? http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Chinese_whispers Errr.....I can understand why though Understand what? "The name "Chinese whispers" reflects the former stereotype in Europe of the Chinese language as being incomprehensible"

Just going off Madras's.. Harper Tavernier Williamson Kadar Ferguson (sorry, I know, I know) Lua Lua Gosling Guthrie Jonas Ameobi Best Probably missed some really obvious players out and it looks like a couple of those will be away anyway. Still, it's probably better than some of the sides we were putting out towards the end of last season A new RB, CB (play Kadar at left back) and a striker would complete the puzzle then. Pretty pleased with these lineups considering we still have 35m (in theory).

Which youngster are you most excited about for the future?

If the consideration is purely based on potential, my vote would be on Vuckic. fergie has higher chance to succeed in EPL though. -
See you in court then.
