  1. Fair play. Let him stay. At least he is totally a waste of his wages. There are lots of mother fuckers that need to be boot out from the team prior to Martins.
  2. Well....put it straight, we should realize that nowadays only clubs with Abrahimovich-like owner can survive and success. Ashley's idea that the club can balance its own income and expense is fucking naive --- which I agree to be honest. Parky, not saying that your idea is wrong. However just think --- the club needs large amount of debt to survive in EPL, and unless you have an excellent run in UEFA competition you will definitely make a loss every year. Then who's going to pay the debt? In the end it's not the debt that matters, it's the owner's willingness to sacrifice his own money for the club.
  3. Same here. That's a reason why Ashley transferred all the debt into "shareholder's loan". I couldn't figure out how Shepherd can sort out that mess too. Would that be related to the casino expansion plan?
  4. M Diarra is a more consistent player. L Diarra, though more speculative, sometimes commits silly mistakes. Anyway both players are excellent cover for those stars upfront. Real Madrid don't need to sign any players here --- just kick away Gago.
  5. Higuain has been the best player for Real Madrid last season.

    RIP sale thread.

Is that some fans got too bored that they hack the official site? I still couldn't believe they make such a silly statement tbh. Newcastle United, a club which never make you bored, no matter how good or bad it is.

So actually there're no interest buyers at the moment right? or they dun need to publish this kinda shit...
  8. He is a bastard but not an idiot. Ashley is an idiot.

    RIP sale thread.

A bit OTT as some issues are actually "best of the worst" that they have no choice. But frankly I agree with you, I prefer other owners than Omani.

    RIP sale thread.

The painful truth is Ashley cannot sell the club because of his silly quoting price. Still remember the 400m he'd asked for last year? He is too stubborn to understand that the later he sold the club the less he can get back, while he's stilling drilling at something like "I will not accept any loss more than 15-20m." Of course it would be good news that he finally make such declaration, but from his past record we all know that he is just too stubborn. Actually if he's wise enough he would inject more money in January to prevent us from relegation which will be a devastating blow to the club's value. And instead what we have was a January with balancing figures and shitty players. "I want to sell it as soon as I can, but I don't want to make a loss" is what the true statement is.
  11. It is for the long term borrowings. Overdraft is another thing, a short term working capital, just like your credit card account.
  12. We do have liquidity problem for a long time and I am not surprised that we have a 40m overdraft. What's really worrying is that it seems like Ashley really doesn't have any money left --- and the only way to finance the 20m needed is by bank borrowings, which I doubt whether there's any banking willing to do so provided that our club is free falling and the owner's wealth is under question. Now probably we must pray that Ashley can find a new owner asap or we are finished.
  13. Well, ok, they better sell the club and fuck off asap. Appointing Shearer is the last chance they could get the things back to the right track, and now they still hesitate to do so / couldn't provide what Shearer wants. Mother fuckers.
  14. they are obviously playing brinkmanship with AS, saying, well alan if you Don't want the job, with no transfer budget, we will just get joe back. also,...if they had offered alan a reasonable budget, it would have been done and dusted by now, its the keegan crisis Talks all over again,. Just f*** off Ashley. Not this time. I mean, not when the club's desperately praying for season tickets' renewal.
  15. Yes for this time only. I mean I couldn't see Ashley wanna be the owner in long term and probably what he is thinking now is just to lower his loss - probably the selling the club after promotion. As such I don't think it's really a long term stability and in addition, I doubt how much fund will be available from Ashley. He is really stubborn enough to think like this "hmmm may be i can just inject 5-6m and after promotion the value of the club may go up by 30m...sounds like good business" FFS. Another owner please. Times up for Ashley.
  16. Max 1.5m or else another one please.
  17. Diego has never proved that he's able to perform in europe top level competition and that's why Barca, RM and other big clubs didn't go for him. He may not be overpriced but it is a risky purchase.
  18. Last time I heard it's 50k. I wonder when did he get a pay rise.
  19. To be honest, playing well at academy level will not guarantee a youngster's future. Most of the time they perform well is due to their well-trained technique and tactics rather than physical strengths. However, especially for EPL, they can only able to perform well after promoted if they have the physical strength to make the cut. Just like Carroll, technically he's s**** but his aerial ability was proven effective against any team in England. In contrast Chopra, a prolific striker for U-18 and reserves, was unable to make a breakthrough due to his lack of presence or pace. As such even though our lads aren't beating the Scums and other youth teams, they could still have a better future if they got the physical talent. Techniques can be trained both on and off the match, and it's relatively easy to pick it up. I know that Krul, Kadar and Vukcic could make it. I am not sure about the others though. Kazenga could be a handy winger, but I am not so sure about Inman, Taverneir and Ranger. Anyone who has a close look to these lads may give comments about their physical abilities. That would be a good reference.
  20. Fair play to him. I mean, if we didn't get relegated, we may not extend his contract either.
  21. A midfield of Duff-Guthrie-New signing-Vukcic/Lua Lua isn't bad tbh. We need to develop a new winger.
  22. Na sold him. He won't take a pay cut. For Beye no pay cut is ok lol. We do need a passionate leader and some experience at the back. He deserves his own salary.

    Steve Harper

He is the best player yesterday FFS. Saved several close range shots which is top-standard goalkeeping. Can Krul really do that? Don't start another blame game and in the end realize that we actually make a bad decision again. That's a reason why we lost so much useful players in these few years that result in relegation. I really hate this.
