Was the management getting informed his real market value base on scout reports? There are a fucking lot of questions that should be asked. Buy / keep players with potential and sell them at decent / max value is the direction we all agreed with, or being informed by the club, to grow as a club and comply with PSR. Keeping Joelinton and sell two players with great potential is the direct opposite. Selling a starting eleven quality RW whose value is way more than 35m euro is a fucking painful lesson that we should never forget.

Ah I just think the 27-8m figure sounds reasonable and then suddenly an insane figure pops out and the rest is history. No club would entertain that quoted price for a fringe player

There are two risks involved 1. Whether he worths the price 2. Even if he is fucking brilliant, the team as a whole has to perform magnificently and get a top 6 finish minimum

It obviously depends on our end of season league position I genuinely think there is no buffer left and if we are unable to qualify for Europe, Howe must be sacked, and we would undergo a lot of squad restructuring to reset the PSR calculations
