  1. What is the worst ever run incidentally? Most consecutive PL defeats 15 - Sunderland (2002/03) Most consecutive PL matches without a win 32 - Derby County (2007/08) Nice one.
  2. Darlow over Eliott and Woodman? Keep on playing Ritchie when he is out of form? Ignoring Mitrovic? Manquillo? Diame? 442? The suicidal pressing? The long ball tactics to Gayle? Match substitutions? Please don't try to say Rafa got all his decisions right and the results are all down to individual errors. There are a huge lot of stuffs he got wrong for this run.
  3. You have to understand that we are going to make history, the worst run ever in EPL. Absolutely no way you can defend Rafa. Ask for sacking is another matter because we probably couldn't bring in a better one, but even by a normal manager standard this is piss poor, never mind a world class manager. The takeover talk in a way saved his job. If there is no takeover Rafa must be sacked for this run. You can have lots of reasons to lay the blame on others but sorry to me Rafa cannot escape from any blame. Worst run in EPL is coming FFS.
  4. Rafa cannot escape from any blame. To be fair, any manager would get sacked for this run.
  5. Fuck, this is real, I will have a long night tonight. And Kudos to HTT, you fucking got it this time.
  6. I find this thread more entertaining than our match FFS. Even HTT has gone crazy, incredible.
  7. Nah. Mitrovic is not Ameobi man. He can do a job. We just don't use him due to Rafa.
  8. Aye. He isn't very good, it's not like he's any better than Carroll, and it would enable us to get someone better. Wouldn't really be arsed who he went to tbh, we just need him out and £££ in. I don't think it is a good idea to strengthen our rivals
  9. No manager can be excused from any criticism for getting 1 point from 7 matches. None.
  10. He couldn't handle the stamina. I believe he will once he's back to full match fitness. I can't imagine he'll start on Wednesday. I prefer to play 3 men midfield and let Merino attack.
  11. He is a good defender when the set up is solid. But since we lost our form, his quality got exposed - and commits lots of mistakes. He will be fine. On the other hand, Lejuene...
  12. To be bloody honest, we don't need a GK that cannot handle the pressure. If Woodman failed the test, release him and got someone else in January. GK is special. If they are mentally weak, they are worthless. If we need to consider and worry for his handling of pressure, do we need to drop him in case we are in FA cup final then? Just play him.
  13. It is a penalty, unless the ref didn't see it.
  14. No matter how wrong Rafa is doing, he can't be replaced. No question. Those calling Rafa out should be expelled from this world.
  15. He can't handle the stamina requirement in a 2 midfield role. So as Hayden.
  16. I can see where you’re coming from and I think 4-2-3-1 suits us better but I don’t think we can drop Gayle at the minute especially with his pace and goal threat. I would play Joselu just behind Gayle as Perez and Gayle together was just disastrous against Huddersfield Last night Joselu was exactly playing behind Gayle. The difference is probably just to ask Joselu to play a bit more closer to midfield but I don't think it makes a big difference. Joselu simply not up to that role. He is very limited, so as the other players we have. That's also related to why we are struggling now - our players aren't good enough to carry out Rafa various tactics and the team simply stop working once we made any changes. So I assume you would drop Gayle? Yes, make him an impact sub. In short, base on my observation: 1. We need 3 midfield to cover up our defense line, and Perez coverage on both sides are critical. 2. We need someone to be able to hold up balls and give our defense line time to recover. That has to be Joselu. Gayle simply not his strength. Another slight twist could be push Merino up to replace Perez. Still we need Joselu there. I know what you mean, dropping our in form striker doesn't make much sense, but to me the team looks fucking disjoint and it is obvious that we can't defend like this. What's the point of scoring 1 goal per match if in return we would concede 3? Yes we do miss Lascelles but that's not the only factor. Our team as a whole need to revert back to how we achieved success earlier this season, and restore players confidence asap. Just like we always said great players can always perform in many occasions, limited players can only perform in very limited conditions.

  18. No. I am serious. We lost our form once Gayle is getting back to the team. I ain't criticising Gayle but I do think we have been working well as a unit before we dropped Perez and play Gayle. Although Perez was playing poorly and Gayle deserved a chance, sometimes team chemistry is not totally related to individual performance. Get back to 4231, Perez and Joselu, Atsu and Ritchie, Merino and Hayden please.
  19. The collapse started when we start to play Gayle again.
  20. Defend deep and hope to nick it. No, we did uncountable front court pressing and left a large space for Vardy to run. That's why I don't understand.
  21. Meeting personally in such a public open place is f***ing encouraging. That means both sides did want to make the deal and they want to give another party the impression that such discussion is "friendly" rather than as bold as newspaper suggests. In addition, the key element for this take over, in fact, has to be solved by Amanda and Mike personally. That's the potential loss of relegation. In short, both sides want the other parties to take the loss, which actually in such a situation (middle of season) this should be shared among them. But this isn't easy and things can go very negative as paper suggests. However, surprisingly, and fortunately, both sides were able to arrange such a curry and solve this out themselves. f***ing awesome. Things never look as bright as now. f***ing hell.
