I was all for signing him in the summer and still think he would be a good addition, however, given PSR restrictions and the price that Palace seem to be looking for I think we can find better value elsewhere.

Was looking forward to Burnley v Leeds on Friday evening and it was complete dross! Well, I watched the first half and it was terrible, ended 0-0 I assume the 2nd half was shite as well.

My understanding is that under PSR there will be very little benefit to Villa for this as the "book value" of the player will still be high as they haven't had him for long.

Seen mixed things on the breakaway at the end, seen some say the ref blew the ball as Pope throws it and Liverpool players stop in reaction, can't verify that as I have only seen twitter videos of our lot ranting about it. Even so the injury time minutes seemed light given the stoppages in injury time.

I think the pen shout last night was one of those that may have been given pre-VAR, seems like a lot of refs are cautious with some fouls because they know VAR will bail them out if they are totally wrong. I'd imagine had it been given on field then it wouldn't have been overturned and in VAR's eyes not a clear and obvious error.

I think we all understood that moving players like Minteh on and flipping for a big profit is meant to become our MO, I think like Kanji has said we're all so frustrated because it's the very first one, a few years down the line and a better first team and more players like this we probably won't bat an eyelid. That being said it would be incredibly frustrating to see him leave with the potential of Almirion starting next season. In an ideal world we keep him but if if it's a choice between sale or falling foul of the PSR shit we are going to have to sell

End of season can't come quick enough for him. Under normal circumstances he would have been rotated. Is he good enough for where we are aiming? Probably not, however, I think he will be useful to keep around next season. That being said if we need to move players on for FFP it would not break my heart to see him go.
