Aye it’s all about who can go on a run from here. If we play well and go on a run we’ll be in the CL. Same is true for any club in that bracket (except Villa - too many games). Brighton are back in it with 4 wins in a row. Forest having the points in the bag is a huge advantage. They can stumble over the line if needed

The Osula transfer is annoying and is playing out how you would expect. Talented. Not trusted for meaningful minutes. not enough meaningful minutes to develop quickly. Probably a good transfer in the medium/long term but could’ve used the resources better for this season

Arsenal fans have a weird persecution complex. But Liverpool and Man U of old do get some very dodgy decisions.

A lot can change. But points on the board is obviously a huge bonus. Every week is massive.

People keep saying ‘Liverpool are not that great’. IMO they’ve been doing what Real have been great at for some time. Finding a way. Players stepping up in big moments. It’s less of a system and more of an old school football team. Do what’s required for the scenario.

Which makes the points on the board already crucial. If any club in that bracket can put 6 wins in a row together from here - has a great chance of CL or close. Brighton looked out of it but their run has them right back in the mix.

A FA Cup semi final, CL QF + genuinely challenging for top 4/5 would have Emery challenging for manager of the season. They have the 7/8th highest wage bill and squad cost. 9th/10th and deep CL and FA Cup runs is about fair. Let alone getting to finals or winning.

This is wishful thinking on your end. A CL QF and a 10th place finish is a succesful season imo. Not to mention they've got great chances of getting to the FA Cup Final, the strongest team left are very beatable and could go even further in the CL.

Standard Eddie. I don't blame anyone for this injury mind. And i'm not overly worried for him long-term. This doesn't sound like a major major injury. Will wait for more info.

It’s more than Liverpool have. 1st CB. 4th CB. 1st LB. 2nd attacker. Doubts over our primary attacker too. Thats VVD, Gomez, Robertson, Diaz. Doubts over Salah. That hits their squad hard and their squad is a lot deeper than ours.
