  1. That Disasi was offering nothing at RB. Don’t know how he lasted 78 minutes.
  2. Would be nice for us to put our foot on the ball and kill the momentum a bit. Or let’s get to shithousing again.
  3. Isn’t this what most well run clubs do? I don’t think Forest is well run. But it’s normal procedure. Just sloppy to make it public.
  4. I’ve bigger up Parish on here before. But I saw him on the Shearer podcast and he confirmed all the criticisms people have of him. He was sneak dissing the fans saying they want European football. But one of their rivals have shown it’s possible with shrewd and forward thinking business. Where Parish defaults to tried and tested. He also came across as being content with being on the PL gravy train. No real ambition to do anything but survive. WHU and Palace are two of the least progressive clubs in the league. WHU ownership don’t trust themselves to do better than Moyes. That’s one of the main reasons he wasn’t sacked last season. Parish sometimes tries to go progressive but at the first hint of trouble - he reverts to type.
  5. I’m not overly concerned if he leaves. He’s technical director not head of recruitment or even the head scout. He’s one of 3-5 voices and has likely setup or laid out the infrastructure/strategy to find targets. We signed Isak, Botman and Bruno G without him. We’ll be fine from a transfer perspective imo. Tony Bloom is the architect of Brighton’s success. And Staveley and co. will be the architects of our success.
  6. I don't agree. There's a level or 2 between Miggy and "absolutely elite". West Ham signed Bowen a few years back, they've also signed Kudus for £30m who has 9 goals in all comps. Chelsea signed Cole Palmer for £45m odd. Szob was what? £60m he's a step above. Kulu at Spurs. Leeds got Raphinha those years ago. Olise looks a talent. Miggy is limited on the ball, off it both offensively and defensively he's great. He won't be that hard to replace if his replacement is willing to graft. There's a good number of hard-working left footed attackers in the world of football with bags more ability. I would've loved Palmer. We could do with another passer and creator. Miggy has a place in this squad for some time though.
  7. Doesn't Bloom have 2 teams in the Europa League?
  8. It was McCormick who didn't rate Kudus at all. Most people thought he was a talent at the least.
  9. Keep in mind - he only joins because of the takeover. Ditto Bruno G and his 5 goals. The January window wasn't perfect and we missed out on a lot of our top targets. But you spend £130m on a PL squad with at least 2-3 PL quality players already there. You should stay up. He did v. well to have us 11th. But to finish 18th or below - considering the investment in January - would be a gigantic failure of QPR/Chelsea proportions.
