He’s providing himself a crook again by taking the money.
-
Interesting how you’ve come to your conclusion. I’ve used the same site and seen that ASM has missed 50 games through injury. Tierney has missed 90. Tierney has missed what, 90% more games than ASM?
-
Leeds are ruining it. Their players can’t play Sam ball and Sam ball is dead.
-
He’s 19. Plenty of room and time to develop. Gordon is 3 years older and he’s a kid apparently.
-
It’s a death knell. It ended Chelsea’s season. It ended Southamptons season. And it has ended Leeds season. Sacking Bielsa was stupid. Sacking Marsch was stupid. Now look at them.
-
He’s not. With a transfer window he can get players in to suit his style and do a decent job. Without it. He’s pap. Got relegated a couple seasons back with WBA no? We’ll smash a Big Sam Leeds.
-
Should win player of the month. highkey he’s fired us into the CL. Top lad.
-
Tierney has missed way more professional football than ASM. To compare them as ‘crocks’ is more NO Anti ASM bullshit. Tierney is not it anyway. I think the DM/CM option was staring us in the face from the weekend. It’s Romeo Lavia.

James Maddison (now playing for Tottenham Hotspur)

£50m for the player is a good deal. I think Raphinha for similar money is a better fit though. I think both sorts out any creativity issues. Add Lavia. A LB and RCB and I’m happy. -

No it’s not. Sissoko made over 200 appearances for Spurs. Robertson and block head from Hull? Carrick, Defoe and Cole when West Ham went down. There’s usually good players to get from relegation teams. -
All Leeds links look awful. Bring em on.

Leeds are done.

It’s a bit of a nonsense. Leicester have run out of actual cash due to the owners being hit by the pandemic. The main driver for Leicester not maintaining the ‘close’ top 4 pursuit is selling their best players. We don’t have to do that. And if we did, we would use the fees to push our transfer spend much further than Leicester did. Also much like our transfers. We should be able to source great commercial deals. And the commercial market know we are the real deal so will push bigger deals to be at the start of our rise. I agree with the squad and management. But I think we’re in position to sign some players that mitigate our weakness significantly without rocking the boat. Lavia’s won’t cost the world but look bound for the elite. -
I’ve been watching Liverpool closely for some time. I’ve long said it’s possible for them to win all their remaining matches due to the ease of them, having players back from injury and no European football. At home they’ve been good in attack all season. It’s away they’ve struggled to score as much and they’ve been conceding all season. Despite winning 3 on the bounce. They still have the same vulnerabilities and keep conceding. They still have the same issues at the back even with a first choice back 5. I’m actually more confident they will drop points now than I was before. In any case. I still think we’re good for 72-75. We should be targeting 3rd and having our best statistical PL season or as close as possible. 75 would be better than any Sir Bobby season. 78 would equal the best ever and we’ll have a better goal difference.

When I was growing up they won a European competition and the FA Cup (twice?) pre Abramovic. Had legends of the game like Vialli and Gullit as players and managers. Desailly. Deschamps. Zola. I never remember Chelsea being a mediocre club.

Good chance we go the rest of the season unbeaten. As good a chance as Liverpool have of winning all their fixtures. IMO we’ll get around 74 points. We’ll get 4-6 points from the next 2. -

Spurs showed some pride and fight at Anfield and against Man U. Liverpool keep playing like they have this week they will drop points. They’ll also not catch our GD. We need a fast start against Arsenal. If we get it, we can Beat them. -
I said ‘people have suggested’ not that ‘people know’. I saw a fair bit of him at Everton didn’t rate him as a player. I think Olise has 40m talent potentially. I think Lavia does. I just don’t see it with Gordon. Nobody’s buying Joelinton for more than the 40m we paid. And we played Joelinton in the wrong position for years. We are playing Gordon in his best positions. I’d rather we continued buying the likes of Bruno G for 40m than Gordon’s, wouldn’t you? I’ve never rated the lad. He’s lucky he’s come into a great team because his performances largely don’t matter. I think he’s a great impact sub at the moment. He’ll score a goal sooner or later against tiring legs and hopefully he kicks on from there and proves me wrong. But like I’ve said - I’ve never thought the lad has serious ability as a winger or wide forward. Maybe he’ll convert to a 8 or 9 or something and be mega at that. Maybe.

That’s basically Southampton today. -
This is a weird argument to me. People have suggested he’s not a £40m player and we should have spent the money on someone that is. I didn’t think he was particularly talented and I still don’t. He’s shown little in thr way of genuine quality. I like him as an impact sub again at tired minds annd legs atm.

Not watching. Is Gordon on the left? HT push Joe W over there. One of Gordon or Murphy on the right. Sub the other for Wilson. Let’s score 3. -

Get it together man. Loads of time left. -
Re: Corporate clubs. Aren’t there a number of German clubs part owned by major manufacturers? Bayern is 30% owned by some of the biggest Bavarian companies like Audi and Allianz. Wolfsburg has VW ownership no?
