I like when he breaks forward mind.

Sure. I would say the block was serendipitous rather than genuine good play (at least in the way it happened). The weak defending was just that.
-
Wonder if he would've been stronger against Cook.

I don't think our squad is any better than anything else in this league imo. Can blame Rafa for some of his signings. But our front 4 is as bad as it gets.
-
79% isn't a good pass completion rate considering the types of passes he attempts.
-
That second line is the problem which is why he gets away with murder. Just because he doesn't seem to fumble things or drop crosses, etc regularly, it doesn't make him good. Joselu doesn't make mistakes in the sense of the word, but he's still not very good. Nobody has said he’s good.

Matt Ritchie (now playing for Portsmouth)

In open play he’s very very average. His ability from deadballs makes him one of our best. -
Not even creativity. His passing just has no purpose.

Javier Manquillo (now playing for Celta de Vigo)

An inferior Davide Santon. Who I didn't rate much anyway. -
Thauvin looked shit for us. So does this lad.
-
He didn't have to be 6 foot 7 for that one. Was a good whipped in corner, he made a good front post run, his marker was blocked off by his team mate. Sometimes it's just a good goal, blame doesn't always have to be attached. Ordinarily, I would agree.. but this is Peter Crouch. He's not just tall. He's really good in the air fullstop. The man has over 50 headed PL goals in his carerer. The very least you can do is ensure he's not 1 mistake away scoring from a set-piece. Block him in, block his runs, crowd him out.
-
Peter Crouch needs to be double marked at corners man.
-
Knew that would be smashed in from his body shape there Iborra. Tidy tekkers

Good to see Danny Simpson firmly back to being shit.

A lot of these are down to injuries. As a starting pair when everyone's fully fit. These are close to the worst in terms of fret.
-
Rafa's a boring coach though. We knew this. He's also brilliant.
-
Rafa plays with 4 attackers primarily. Ours are: Ritchie, Perez, Atsu & Joselu. That's a relegation battle attacking force. 4 league goals among them? As an 11 we work well together... especially defensively. We have 5-6 players that are decent in the air and 2 players that can deliver great set-pieces. If we could get a couple top 6-8 level players in the attacking roles, then we suddenly look a very handy team.

Swansea barely score and when they do... it's likely Tammy. I wanted us to sign the lad permanently. By all accounts he chose Swansea over us right? That's how he made it seem in a Sky interview. He seems to think there's a chance he could go back to play regularly for Chelsea next season... or at any point. Realistically he should be looking to gain a permanent transfer to an upper midtable club in the PL.. get in the 20 goal bracket a few times before Chelsea can buy him back.

Spurs finished 3rd and something like 9 points behind Leicester. It wasn’t particularly close at all. Last season they got a mid 80’s points haul but Chelsea were superb. This year I can see City go into the 90’s again.
-
Rafa’s Liverpool team with Torres and co. is probably the best I’ve seen to not win any top title bar our lot. I hope this Spurs side doesn’t end up in that discussion.
-
Real had the most stacked squad i've ever seen last season. So much competition. This year apart from when they've played Barca, they've been pap. Last season they would've had Danilo and Pepe in defence as back-up. James & Morata on the bench. Their transfer activity indicated complacency or at least stagnation.
-
It's clearly the easiest part of management/coaching though. It's not like. Pardew, Carver, McClaren couldn't organise a damn thing. Foreign managers tend to be much better at it. The few British managers that can do it have a decent shot of becoming England manager. It's that rare.
-
Literally all he had as a player. He's Amdy Faye 2.0 without it. Nah. He can be much better on the ball than a Hayden and more proactive at breaking up play/interceptions. Seems only useful 30-60mins tops though.
-
Don't like his reaction when we lose the ball and teams can counter us. Think he pulled a strop before the Liverpool goal and he did the same today when Perez lost it. Neither he or Diame bothered to get back when Perez lost the ball. While the Burnley CM's pressed ahead. Lazy shit from the both of them.

Aye. Was pretty decent.. then he was terrible. Mind Shelvey's levels also dropped at the same time.
