That strategy worked (just) last season, and got us relegated 2 seasons before that. For me to be happy with this strategy we should BUY the replacement FIRST We have. So you think that this is Cabaye, and if he gets injured, then what?? Half of last season we played with 1/2 a team, you have to have way more of a squad than we have. Ashley is a chancer, in that he just plans for us to scape by and get lucky that we wont get too many injuries to get us relegated.

For me to be happy with this strategy we should BUY the replacement FIRST. For a number of seasons now we have sold players without replacing them, and then making some lame excuse that there was no time to replace the player. If you buy the replacement first, then the other clubs cant hold you over a barrel.
-
I would agree with this usually but quite frankly we have seen this all before. Players sold, no/few replacements in and then some half hearted bull that we tried at the last moment but couldnt get the deals done. As we say in England " When Llambias speaks, shite spews"

Warrenbarton2 Love that he puts his squad number on when he isn't part of a squad anymore! erm maybe its just that he played fullback his whole career? Maybe? I'm sure that is the reason but I can't help but find it amusing. Same as I'm sure Shearer has shearer9 as his thing no doubt.

If it's scenery he's after, he'll be disappointed. ho ho. He would be if the change of scenery is Liverpool. What a shit-hole that town is. People from me ask me if they should go, to see the "Home of the Beatles" and I tell them not to bother.

2nd time this season he has moved that fast, got caught both times too Well people on here were w**king over Ranger, who runs twice as fast, and how many did he score?
-
Lets face it, who the heck knows what Lambsarse is going to do. The guy is a total p**ck and always will be. Nolan scored 12 goals last year. Without him we would have been down, simple as.

Ha Ha. Maybe 1 or 2 from Celtic and Rangers and that's about it.

Has anyone seen Forster play much? Im not entirely convinced by Krul, he seems decent at shot stopping but no so hot on crosses. Should we be playing Forster here next season before we make a decision re goalkeepers -

Nice to see another fan in NJ, even if it is the southern part! I went crazy and yelled at him that there was only one United and its not from Manchester!!! Nice to see another fan in NJ, even if it is the southern part! We always go around with our strips on, and the locals ask if we are referees.

Southern New Jersey near Ocean City NJ. No MAGS here at all. One of my sons friends asked me the other day what the United score was. I told him it was 0-0 at half time versus Blackburn. He said how can that be since they were playing City. I went crazy and yelled at him that there was only one United and its not from Manchester!!!

Wait, are we not owned by one of the richest men in the UK? Yay ............. it could only happen to us.

He hasn't looked great when starting a whole game. Also, his attitude isn't the best. He could do with showing up to work on time for a start. -
He is. But the media won't report that and will focus on "the great job Moyes has done at Goodison Park". The bookies have Everton at much longer odds to go down than us, which I find slightly surprising.

The only way to be now it patient, otherwise it will be 0-5. The morale is shot to bits tho, I hope we can escape relegation. The cost of that was estimated at 50M - 35M for Carrol, oh, only losing another 15M you dopey Cockney t$$ts -
West Ham agree fee in region of £15m with Liverpool for Andy Carroll

The money is a hell of a lot. The problem is we have Shola and Best up front, both of whom have injury concerns. I hope we can stay up, I think we can but they are taking a hell of a risk. then, IF we do stay up, what about next year? -
They may think whats the point knowing they are going to be sold in January and are managed by a knob. Why should the crowd going or not going make much difference? Not like our home form has been up to much despite the crowds best intentions.
