  1. "Make a difference", what an utter cunt.
  2. Think at some point he'll score and then go on a bit of a mini run.
  3. Jacinda will probably have them put down just to be safe.

Seemed like we where his second option and by the time he decided he wanted to come here Manure had already sold other similar players. Maybe he should have decided things earlier.. Now he's being made to stay in a luxury training facility where's he's paid £100,000 a week to practice playing a really enjoyable game, its appalling. Why do bad things happen to good people?
  5. Yep what a tit, just said "If Newcastle signed Arron Ramsey it would be the best signing they've made by a country mile"

The whole thing is nonsense anyway. The PL had these assurances several months before the takeover happened. They just used those old assurances as a excuse to try to explain why the takeover could suddenly happen because they were running out of road. The club were happy not to contradict them because they got what they wanted. Claiming the entire thing was just about needing assurances that one of their members wouldn't be ran in a unscrupulous manor, and now all of a sudden those assurances have come along, was just the most palatable way to back down. Especially since they could then claim a postion of strength by saying that IF those assurances were broken they could take action. Something they'll never ever do btw. The Crown Prince could turn up next season, take a pen at half time and announce a new signing and the PL would do fuck all.
  7. Amazing mate thanks, I've been looking for that for ages on and off.
  8. Was looking for a compilation more recently that's been deleted everywhere. It was the clubs relegation at the start and then coming back up to sign Ben Arfa, Cabaye ect. Had "shake it out" as the theme and AFAIR was called "The fall and rise of Newcastle United".
  9. You're always going to ask the agent if theirs's interest before putting in a bid though, which will likely include a idea of the wage you'd be prepared to pay. I think there's a difference between doing that and literally sitting down with the player and negotiating a contract before putting in a bid.
  10. I think its clear that Guimaraes is the best player in that comparison, so I think Arsenal should go for Arthur, or just not bother at all and keep what they have.
  11. Everton completely wasting loads of money and going backwards doesn't mean more money was needed though, just better use of it. £400m doesn't guarantee anything, but I do agree that amount isn't needed to break into the top 10.
  12. Not sure if I want to watch the Brazil match like. If he's great in it and then we don't get him it'll be all the more disappointing.
  13. But that's exactly what we keep seeing "player has agreed to join NUFC, deal close". Then the media change it to something else a hour later and a day later its off.
  14. Don't think its ever been claimed that Lyon don't want to sell. Pretty sure they need the money, or that's what's been reported anyway.
  15. Pretty sure installments have no impact on FFP. No matter how you pay the accounts still show the fee as paid over the course of the players contract. Again not 100% on that but I think that's how it works.
  16. Ah ffs, that's that over with then.
  17. So I wonder if we've agreed terms in principle and now he's making his mind up after our offer was accepted? I mean we seem to have agreed terms with everyone else before agreeing with the club.
  18. Aye he's a mackem in Football and politics.

How does VAR protect big clubs?, it only highlights corruption. Every single time a patently incorrect decision was made in the past the go to reason was "its a split second decision from the ref, he's human and will get it wrong sometimes in the heat of the moment". VAR removes that excuse, you get to see the same thing in MOTD replays as the VAR official saw and it becomes very clear that they're cheating. I mean if I had any doubt that there was corruption in matches that's gone now after watching games with VAR, because the decisions they often make after watching several replays just have no other explanation.
  20. Well it should. Because they obviously wrongly believe that our captain is of some use.

One thing about VAR, it really should end any ideas of things like this just being mistakes. Can't argue it was a split second decision. They have time to review it from multiple replays. The bias is undeniable.
  22. Losing our captain and starting CB would do the opposite like, surely will push them on even more to get a CB.
  23. Is there a new PL guideline for refs? Chris Wood getting a chance equals a foul?
  24. Both clubs can ask for whatever they want, I mean yeah he's their player, but if they have any interest in selling him then there are limits to what they can ask for. I'd say a loan back, in our position, is one of those limits.

Anyone else? We need like 1.33 points per game to very likely stay up, thats below mid table form. Well beyond our current, but I mean if we signed some very good players its hardly too much to achieve.
