We've been living on the edge for 20 minutes at least, make a fucking change!!
-
At 2-1 we were looking fragile and likely to concede. Shelveys's already a ghost in midfield most of the time and couldn't tackle because he was on a yellow and Schar was also booked. Howe sat on his hands and just seemed scared to make a change. Trippier's goal was the turning point, but it easily could have gone the other way. Brilliant result, Howe's had a definite positive effect on how we play, obviously his coaching is in a different league to Bruce. But I don't accept that he got it all right on the night (people saying he's a tactical mastermind.. common). I think he was indecisive and it could have cost us.
-
Aye much safer bet to stick with the players who have us on 15 points from 21 games and only managed a win last game due to their keeper fumbling a pass back into his own net.
-
He's clearly fit so while I'm sure some would do that its not really a complaint with any substance to it. However this is, we've got one of, if not the worst, midfield in the league. Bruno is on another level to Shelvey, agree or disagree with the decision but I think the complaint has substance to it.

Now dreading this match. Wouldn't be if Everton didn't have a new manager or we actually had a midfield.
-
The disappointing thing is watching another side dominate us in possession.
-
Wouldn't say that, seems more like he's playing it safe. He thinks too much change too fast is risky, but the real risk is in not changing a shite team as fast as possible. Every game is precious now, we can't afford to keep playing the same old shit that got us here.
-
One point more than 17th puts us in 16th though, would be nice but its not absolutely needed to survive.
-
"Make a difference", what an utter cunt.
-
Think at some point he'll score and then go on a bit of a mini run.
-
Jacinda will probably have them put down just to be safe.
-
Seemed like we where his second option and by the time he decided he wanted to come here Manure had already sold other similar players. Maybe he should have decided things earlier.. Now he's being made to stay in a luxury training facility where's he's paid £100,000 a week to practice playing a really enjoyable game, its appalling. Why do bad things happen to good people?

Yep what a tit, just said "If Newcastle signed Arron Ramsey it would be the best signing they've made by a country mile"
-
The whole thing is nonsense anyway. The PL had these assurances several months before the takeover happened. They just used those old assurances as a excuse to try to explain why the takeover could suddenly happen because they were running out of road. The club were happy not to contradict them because they got what they wanted. Claiming the entire thing was just about needing assurances that one of their members wouldn't be ran in a unscrupulous manor, and now all of a sudden those assurances have come along, was just the most palatable way to back down. Especially since they could then claim a postion of strength by saying that IF those assurances were broken they could take action. Something they'll never ever do btw. The Crown Prince could turn up next season, take a pen at half time and announce a new signing and the PL would do fuck all.

Amazing mate thanks, I've been looking for that for ages on and off.
-
Was looking for a compilation more recently that's been deleted everywhere. It was the clubs relegation at the start and then coming back up to sign Ben Arfa, Cabaye ect. Had "shake it out" as the theme and AFAIR was called "The fall and rise of Newcastle United".
-
You're always going to ask the agent if theirs's interest before putting in a bid though, which will likely include a idea of the wage you'd be prepared to pay. I think there's a difference between doing that and literally sitting down with the player and negotiating a contract before putting in a bid.
-
I think its clear that Guimaraes is the best player in that comparison, so I think Arsenal should go for Arthur, or just not bother at all and keep what they have.
-
Everton completely wasting loads of money and going backwards doesn't mean more money was needed though, just better use of it. £400m doesn't guarantee anything, but I do agree that amount isn't needed to break into the top 10.
-
Not sure if I want to watch the Brazil match like. If he's great in it and then we don't get him it'll be all the more disappointing.
-
But that's exactly what we keep seeing "player has agreed to join NUFC, deal close". Then the media change it to something else a hour later and a day later its off.
-
Don't think its ever been claimed that Lyon don't want to sell. Pretty sure they need the money, or that's what's been reported anyway.
-
Pretty sure installments have no impact on FFP. No matter how you pay the accounts still show the fee as paid over the course of the players contract. Again not 100% on that but I think that's how it works.
-
Ah ffs, that's that over with then.
-
So I wonder if we've agreed terms in principle and now he's making his mind up after our offer was accepted? I mean we seem to have agreed terms with everyone else before agreeing with the club.
