  1. I think people just need to step back and realise that its not just going to be a fairy tale now just because Ashley's gone. There will be mistakes, especially until a good structure is in place. But I'm sure it'll get there because at the end of the day these people actually want success. At the very worst I know what I want is now in line with what the people at the top want. Unlike under Ashley, all he wanted was to keep the club just above water. Didn't want relegation for obvious reasons but didn't want to do any better because he didn't want expectations raised. I'll take mistakes with the intent of improvement and ambition over deliberate managed under performance any day.
  2. Great that we've now got very ambitious people at the top instead of someone actively trying to hold the club down. But they can't be expected to know how to run the Football side of things, so its probably going to be a bit hit and miss until they get a structure of experienced professionals in. Obviously the big problem is the need to get things sorted fast because of potential relegation. They may have to settle for a good enough choice for the moment like Howe and some experienced players in January just to get to next season. Then work on bringing in a long term structure and then the manager they really want sometime after that.
  3. He's a user not an achiever. He picks the club that can best achieve awards for him rather than the club he can achieve awards for. Not what we need, I'd take Benitez over him without question.
  4. 60 points up for grabs post Christmas like, so impossible to be relegated by Christmas.
  5. Yeah the talk of Gerrard just seemed wierd to me. But like I said I know nothing about it other than him being manager of Rangers. So was wondering if anyone could make a case for him.
  6. What's Gerrard actually done to be considered a good manager? I've been mostly ignoring Football since Benitez left, he's at Rangers apparently. But since when was doing well in a two horse town seen as convincing in Football. Is there more to it than him just winning a title in Scotland?
  7. Whey, he hauled Clark down, nearly pulled his shirt off, and he was the player marking the goal scorer. So not really luck.
  8. Doesn't have to put them all on the fucking pitch though!
  9. Why did they give the ball back? The palace player didn't put the ball out of play deliberately, he tried to flick it on and fucked up..
  10. The entire separation thing was nonsense. They wouldn't dare to ban any team, the whole ODT is a pretence.
  11. SNP is where I stopped reading..

Amazing anyone expected anything different from a Guardian cartoonist.
  13. You know the replies here really are funny. Anyone who even suggests anything that doesn't fit with your ideas isnt engaged with, just dismissed. You's lot really haven't got a clue Not wasting my time though. Bye..
  14. No I'd rather just support the genuine cause of kick it out. This isn't the thread for a discussion on it so I won't continue it here. Felt I had to comment once to the poster that brought it up.
  15. Nope, support "kick it out", not the BLM kneeling nonsense IMO.
  16. Thought that article was shite, but each to there own.
  17. Pretty sure I've never wanked over anyone involved in NUFC before, this really is a new world.
  18. Hmm, could I fit "His Excellency Yasir Al-Rumayyan" on the back of a shirt?
  19. They have the legal power to disqualify any club after reviewing its directors every season, but they don't and never will, because it would ruin their competition. Fact is once you're in, you're in.
  20. How thick are the Guardian? PIF would have been giving those assurances the entire time. If this is true then it's obviously just a way for the PL to climb down without saying its because of the change in piracy. "let's just say you've given up new assurances we never got before and now we're happy". Suppose I could be generous and say that the Guardian are being willfuly ignorant to put out a exclusive angle on the takeover.
  21. Ah shit, so we'd only go from a slow death of a club spending less then nowt to one that is forced to limit itself to financial fair play levels of spending?.. We'll that's me right back down to earth ?
