The club under Keegan and Robson was absolutely brilliant and a wonderful thing to be a part of. Can't imagine thinking that those days were piss poor or that the club was pointless simply because a trophy wasn't won. Obviously it'll always be a major disappointment to me that we didn't win a trophy in those periods. But I still loved being a fan of the club back then and that's what Footballs about.

Offer 40m euros with a 1 day deadline, then move on imo.
-
Would fit the BBC better imo due to his sliminess. But I think he's out of place everywhere personally.
-
Doesn't force them, but it will very likely influence them to. Most teams don't want to keep a unhappy player.
-
Football fans getting angry at opposing opinions?, that's incredible! Football is a competitive sport like, it's not supposed to be objective.
-
What entitles him to that? He's failed in his big move. If he's happy to continue that failure he can, but he isn't entitled to a move to a similar size club. He needs to prove himself in this league first.
-
Everytime we go ahead and the opposition start to pressure us we've got no plan other than to sit back. Howe has no answer to it. Taking off our main outlet 5 minutes from time is about as far from helping as you can get.
-
It will probably be set out in the contract how the release clause has to be paid. Doesn't mean its all up front though.
-
Are people really bothered what he costs? I'm not, if he attacks the ball he'll score a few goals and help us stay up. That's all that matters.
-
To be fair they have no hope of improving. If we had no takeover and no hope of signing any significant new players this month I'd be assuming relegation as well.
-
The amount of corners and other crosses we had yesterday, if anyone had attacked them we'd gave scored a couple.
-
Shouldn't matter. The window is for player registration. So you can sell at anytime as long as the club you're selling too has its player registration window open. Unless they're looking for a player coming in to replace Trippier before selling?

There are 31 days in January and a player can arrive on any of them, not arriving in early January does not equal arriving in February. Also many players have arrived and made a instant impact, look at the likes of Sissoko or Ben Arfa. Yes we should get players in ASAP, but not having the deals all done and announced before the window even opens just doesn't qualify as "time running out". It doesn't even mean they won't arrive in early January.
-
New players aren't going to be working with Howe at 12 midnight though. We could sign players in the next few days and they'd still have plenty of time to be ready for those games.
-
Seems clubs are trying to rip us off knowing we need players in ASAP to make a difference in the remaining games. But with Everton and likely Southampton being postponed we've got a bit more time to get players in now.
-
Heh, yeah not happening. Inter are a great club, but the league their in limits them long term, they've already got a club that can potentially be the biggest in the world. They may get some other smaller clubs, but they won't be wasting their money on inter (again Inter are a massive club, but they have little room to grow, cost 3x what they paid for us and can never be as big as we could be with the right investment).

Haha, aye, hitting the post is "just a shot off target". But Cavani hitting it 6 feet wide is a real chance
-
You's had two really good chances and one of those scuffed in. We hit the post and forced some excellent saves from your keeper. Just had more shots on target overall as well. The chance with the keeper out was not clear cut at all, we had like 4 on the line. We had far more than you, you's got lucky.
-
Aye, no commentators ect seemed to notice. He definitely didnt mean the ball to go in that direction. Total misshit.
-
Absolutely, everyone thought he was shite. He's improved since Howe consistently. I think everyone probably now thinks he's a better player than they ever realised before after tonight.
-
How? Why would he realise he was that good, we didn't.
-
Nah I took it as just saying he was really good. Longstaffs talking shite that it's a disgrace he's had flack. He was crap for a while, he might have seen the quality in training but it hadn't been seen on the pitch until the last several games.
-
Survival now comes down to having at least two good central defenders, right back, central midfielder, attacking midfielder and striker in before mid January. All have to be genuinely good quality, we can't rely on Wilson now and might have lost St Maximin so we need to make sure we've got replacements.
-
Excellent performance but 2 points dropped. We had far more chances, could have won by 3. Even their equaliser was a scuffed shot that accidentally found its way in. At least the ref didn't completely cheat us this week.

Frasier had run himself to exhaustion.
