  1. http://www.football-lineups.com/team/Southampton/FA_Premier_League_2013-2014/Stats/Injuries/ Much more than us, we have 2 first team regular's out atm, Tiote and Colo. How is that much more Vs http://www.football-lineups.com/team/Newcastle_United/FA_Premier_League_2013-2014/Stats/Injuries/ Looks less to me.. Also I'm not talking total players missing players right over the season, I'm talking about having 4 or 5 players out all at the same time. They might have had at one time, can't be bothered to read through the list and work it out, but I'd bet that at that time they weren't better than us like we aren't better than them right now. As for only two players out, Gouffran isn't a starter? Over the last few games we've had 4 first team regulars out through injury and suspension (Coloccini, Tiote, Gouffran and Remy) and one who would have played in their place (Cisse). That table includes ever present Krul for 136 days, since he was injured tail end of last season. We've been extremely lucky with injuries this season tbh, only recently have we lost a few to key players. The Southampton table also includes injuries that didn't see the player miss a game. Its pretty difficult to compare those tables really and beside the point I was trying to make about how well each side are doing currently. Anyway not worth this length of discussion really so I'll stop. On another note, well done West Brom

A big reason why Southampton have caught us, not the only reason of course, but a major factor.
  3. Luiz with a hand full of a West Brom shirt in the area in full view of the ref and nothing given, what a surprise.
  4. Had to happen. They are a better team to be fair. Wouldn't be if they had 6 first teamers out. They've had big injury problems the last 6-7 weeks. Other teams do get injuries. What big injury problems have they had over that period? Well players being out injured, duh. Specifically which players and when? I wasn't aware of any big problems they'd had recently with missing players so I'm interested.

    Bafetimbi Gomis

Shouldn't be a problem on a free, do agree its looking likely he'll go elsewhere though.

    Bafetimbi Gomis

Haven't seen him play that much but he certainly seems to be a good goal scorer these days. Over the last three seasons on average he's scored a goal every 167 minutes (1.86 games). When I have seen him he's looked a decent Footballer as well. Looks like we won't be getting him now though.
  9. Yeah totally unbelievable that Kinnear would fuck up, must be made up bollocks, the blokes top class after all
  10. Forgot about that http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9c48wCltdFQ To be fair to the silver haired prick that wasn't a nothing game, we desperately needed that win and I bet most Newcastle fans were celebrating similarly.
  11. FFS. Had to ask considering some of the stuff posted on here
  12. Yeah casino money for a night out in the gate apparently.
  13. Didn't fatman spend 45m on Debenhams shares recently. Interesting. You're joking right?
  14. Wonga deal started this season so the first payment will be this year right? So that's £6m extra per season there as well.
  15. I'm not sure we actually rested any players in the cup, we just went out because Pardew lost the tactical battle. In the FA Cup, embarrassingly to a baby faced rookie who didn't know his arse from his elbow. Bit of both, we rested Krul, Remy and Williamson from the start and the moment we went ahead Pardew handed Cardiff the tactical advantage by taking Gouffran off for Obertan.
  16. Only a side managed by Alan Pardew could have a player of Marveaux's ability as a fringe player who "has to make up the numbers" because Obertan is injured
  17. Of course, but records can have an effect in themselves, look at us vs Hull or at the moment the Mackems. Don't think we're likely to win or owt, but I think we could certainly get something.
  18. Why is he gone then? If Kinnear is there to take the blame then why not let him keep taking it? Also how can he be happy with the performance of a man who isn't bringing in cheap players to sell for big profits? At some point your fall guy has to take the fall. Isn't this very early to get rid though? Also what about my second question? Apparently the aim of our transfers is purely to buy any cheap player we think we'll be able to sell on for profit. Kinnear has failed miserably their hasn't he? Seriously, Ashley is a stingy c*** with no ambition, but he isn't an evil genius weaving his Machiavellian plots behind the scenes. It seems like no matter what happens people will find a way to conclude that it was exactly what Ashley wanted to happen, he never actually makes mistakes, the man must be one in a million. I know, not everyone thinks everything he does is some kind of evil plan, but it just seems like there's always a theory for everything and its irritating that's all, it actually gives the f***er more credit then he deserves IMO. What does it matter if it's through incompetence or a deliberate plan as long as the end result is always Ashley wins and the fans lose out? He doesn't always win, that's the point, sometimes he wins and sometimes he loses but in some people's eyes he always wins (as in never makes mistakes). No it doesn't really matter if the end result is we always lose as fans. Like I said its just something that iterates me personally because I don't think he deserves the credit of being thought of as some kind of evil genius who never makes a mistake. He's just a fucking arsehole who doesn't give a shit about the club. Anyway won't say anything more about it.
  19. Well obviously I hope you're right on the theory of him doing it deliberately as a lead up to selling the club. I don't believe anything they say either, just don't think it adds up for Ashley to be happy with Kinnears performance over the last year if he plans to stay on.
  20. Our recent record again Chelsea at Stamford Bridge is pretty good. From the last five games we have two wins, two draws, one loss. Who knows, we might get something.

  23. Kinnear "resigned" because that looks better than being sacked. Carroll put in a transfer request because?..
