Yes, why shouldn't we? There's nothing to indicate he would be a direct replacement.

Our bid wasn't even accepted, now Manure have bid less. This is completely spasticated.

Assuming we're confident that we can increase revenue significantly in the next few years. We could use that £150m up front (on the books at least) cash injection to spend a lot more than that over the next couple of years.
-
You push ahead with a deal that the club actually agree to? We can submit whatever we want, but until its actually accepted/agreed there's still work to be done.
-
The club don't have it written down that he will lose his pay if he doesn't train. Thats their mistake right? My view is both are acting badly. Both side should stick to their word. Neither should be excused from blame based on a lack of legal requirement to act well.

If he's a success and is then looking to move its far from ideal but its hardly a no win situation. Under Ashley it would have been. Because any successful player was sold on with none of the profit being spent to drive the club forward. Thats not going to be the case now. Its annoying that PSR is limiting us like this. But it seems to me that people are letting this transfer window, so far, get to them a little bit too much.

William Hill offer a request a bet option via Twitter/X, some other bookies do as well.

The sky's the limit does not mean you reach the sky straight away. We have no insurmountable limits that prevent us from getting bigger and bigger. But we do have major obstacles in our way that slow that progression. I thought everyone knew that. We're going to have to stay up near the top of the league and compete for trophies to allow us to build sponsorships. We'll need to build a new stadium or expand our own, and over time increase our revenue to drag ourselfs towards the top. I honestly thought everyone realised that's how it would have to be given PSR rules.

Closing down as if its a PL game. -
If they thought we were the best option, then they wanted to play for us. He didn't say they had to have a childhood desire to play for the club. Just that they are happy to sign. Not a player who's waiting for another club to come in, but maybe will sign eventually if that doesn't happen.

You'd prefer Nunez to Wissa??

Hugo Ekitike (not playing for Liverpool for a while)
Teasy replied to Miggys First Goal's topic in Football
Yeah so? They've made a similar offer to the one we made and are talking to Frankfurt, the offer hasnt been accepted. Difference now is likely the player will push harder for the deal and soon they'll get a deal agreed. -

A mixture of him not being very good and Newcastle being utter shit at the time. -

So Liverpool are saying "Let us have our first choice striker (Isak), or we'll buy our second choice instead (Ekitike) and then you won't have him". Er, yeah ok, we'll keep your first choice thanks. -
Why because its not PC to say you dislike certain accents?..

But who's going to match him for goals and assists and also have much better ball retention? It's not like he passes the ball to the opposition often. A major part of his lower ball retention is due to the fact he tries crosses and shots. Easy for wingers to retain the ball more if they risk possession less but they aren't likely to get near him in assists in that case.
-
No at beating a man occasionally and actually getting a few crosses in. Unlike Barnes who did neither.
-
Gordon was better than Barnes in that first half.
-
Just played this completely wrong. There keeper made two massive fuck ups right away and that should have been the signal to put as much pressure on him as possible. Instead we sat back and gave him time to settle down. Ridiculous. All because Howe wanted to be more defensive instead of just going at them from the start.
