I think he does offer as much in build up play. Though, at least at this early stage, Joselu looks to have a better instinct for getting into goal scoring positions. Still think Mitrovic can be a good option though.

He's played ok overall so far and contributed a lot in our two wins. No he's not a natural in the number 10 spot, but at his worst he doesn't hide and doesn't go for the easy option just to cover his back (probably why he often gets the blame when we play poorly). Also puts plenty of effort in IMO. Gayles a predatory kind of striker, but offers very little to the team, so I think he'd be absolutely shocking in the number 10 role.

But at the time of reporting it was above mid table as far as Premier League wage bills go. We don't know for sure where it stands right now, but obviously its still going to be much higher than the other two sides that came up and in comparison to sides like Bournmouth (reported at £33m at the same time) and Watford (£41m at the same time).

This is all coming from a guy who thinks he's played two premier league games To be fair those appearances come to a total of 30 full games in minutes on the pitch, and he scored 15 goals in those games, which is a excellent record. So he can certainly score in this league when given time on the pitch in the right setup. I just don't think he gives enough to the team to be our main striker.

I've never thought Gayle, in the system we play, would work in this league. Nowt do to with the first two games.
