Ramsdale Livramento Thiaw Burn Hall Guimarães Tonali Joelinton Murphy Woltemade Gordon Pope; Trippier, Schär; Miley, Ramsey; Elanga, Barnes; Wissa, Osula Aye? Nah?

Not sure my heart could take it if we see a similar announcement for Fab as Tripps got today.

For all of the great moments he brought us on the pitch, I'm not sure anything sums him up more than making sure Lascelles was part of the trophy lift at Wembley. Top bloke, amazing signing, and the start of it all, really, on the playing side.
-
He's fucking class, like. Hope that's his last injury for while.

Howay the Poles!
-
Come on Poland, you bunch of usually useless footballing bastards.

Somewhere, this morning, @Unbelievableis smiling contently.

I’ll sell you to RAWK if you’re not careful sonna.

Get it right round them. Love to see it.

Reckon it was this funny to outsiders when we brought Shearer in pre-relegation?
-
I do think he’d be miles better than what we have, just don’t think it’s at all realistic.
-
Is he not on insane money there? I’m sure I saw someone say it was £250k a week, or similar, which is way, way above our ceiling.

Canny post. I’d personally feel miles less miserable if the off-pitch stuff was even remotely keeping pace with the on-pitch progress. Howe’s not perfect, but he’s been consistently let down from above since Staveley was elbowed out. Our executive hires have been largely poor, but the jury is still very much out on the current lot.

It was a very good description of O’Reilly, to be fair. I didn’t even get his name right myself Rico Lewis is trash by comparison, proper nothing player.
-
Are you thinking of Nico O’Reilly?
-
Never thought I'd be nodding along in agreement with Marco fucking Materazzi.
-
That first half against Chelsea, man, I thought he was going on to get 30 goals this season .
-
It impacts revenue, doesn’t it?
-
Arsenal or Liverpool might get close?

I think there’ll be a market for Gordon, especially if he has a good World Cup. He’ll be straight off an’ all.

If we’re going radical, I’d shift Livramento, Tonali, and Gordon for exorbitant fees, release Krafth and Targett, renew Trippier and Schär for a season as backups, peddle Willock and Wissa, and obviously not sign Ramsdale. I’d look at Bruno and Miley as starting CMs, with Ramsey and Joelinton fighting for the spot beside Bruno, sign a 10 to play off Woltemade, and get a starting GK, RB, and RW in, with a younger LW to compete with Barnes and an experienced striker who’s not a shit midget to push Woltemade. We could do with a cheap and cheerful utility defender an’ all. New GK New RB Thiaw Botman Hall Guimaraes Miley New RW New AM Barnes Woltemade Pope, Trippier, Schar, Burn, New LB, Ramsey, Joelinton, Murphy, Elanga, Osula, New ST as backups. I don’t love Barnes, but he guarantees goals and assists and might flourish if seen as the main man on the left flank. Plus, I’m certain he’s the exact type of profile Woltemade needs around him.

A top-drawer keeper will make a massive impact, but I do think right winger/striker aren’t too far behind in terms of priority. Refuse to believe Elanga can ever be the player we need there based on all evidence to date, and while I’m loathe to give up on Woltemade, the alternative is a total style change to get players in and around him to play to his strengths. Wissa looks to have next to no attributes to lead the line in the way we need him to, but I appreciate the sample size there is small and he’s hardly shown his best. You’d think it’s at least five/six in and out, whichever way you slice it.
