The positions where we have been lacking are no10 and on the wing. For the squad we need cover for shelvey and hayden. Any buys that will strengthen these will make us a lot stronger...

Much the same, a pacy forward who can play a couple of roles up front or even the no10 position where we are crying out for someone to take responsibility for that psotion. For me a "Remy" like striker would be great or a fiesty bellamy like grafter with pace.

An improvement on Colback and some real competition to help improve Hayden. Thumbs up`here as well

Agree, the change would force teams to think about the threat and would allow us to play different approaches when needed through the game (long or passing). Still think it's a mentality thing when we play at St james, the team seems to be very anxious at home. Probably more fault of the support; seems like we get on their backs far too quickly and the atmosphere is much worse than what is offered from our away support (only going on others opinions, haven't been to SJP this season).

My couple of points: Ritchie has been huffing and puffing all season, we need some competition and he needs dropped. Diame and Perez have also been crap in the no10 position all season bar a couple of games, we desperately lack a bit of cunning in this position. Gouffran is what he is, he is bang average but gives 100% every game, we can't expect more from him. We miss not having a replacement for Shelvey and will suffer from it, I would liken this situation to any Barcelona team of the last few years (tin hat); take messi out and the level drops drastically... Apply the same principal to a much more inferior team.... Conclusion: Buy a No.10, winger, creative midfielder and a guaranteed goalscorer (if gayle got injured?) ASAP!!!

The only thing that he lacks is Build, when he gets to 25 and his body changes he will be some keeper. Really do enjoy watching this lad, will be hard for blob and krul to displace him on this form...

Aye for 15M I would also snap his hand off. We have now waited for over a year and we are all still waiting for him to show us what all the fuss was about. At the moment he looks like standard championship striker, in the prem he was gash, can't remember a striker missing so many sitters or at least that's what comes to mind. I also don't buy all that Stevie T heart thumping I'm a Geordie look at my attitude type of boll***s, he still isn't performing on the pitch. Yes, mr partisan Belgrade, he is just a performing bear at the moment, in fact the novelty is wearing thin!!!

Going back to the 442 argument and the incorrect thought that we aren't scoring enough, my thoughts are that we are playing a system that will serve us very well when we go up a level when back in the prem. We wob't dominate possession so much and will appreciate the extra man in midfield. I also think that with the marauding (ahem!...dummet!) full backs we are quite set up to attack??? It is hard to score goals when teams "park the bus" it's irrelevant if you play 442, 351, or whatever, they still have nine men defending.... I personally think the system is great and it's the first time I have seen us genuinely well organised and hard to break down, with some better quality in the final third we would whop teams every game. I also don't see that many prem sides playing 442, as the game is much more about control and not losing.

We have dropped back 20-30 yards whereas in first half hour we were well up the pitch. Don't like sitting on leads like this, let's get another goal and up the pace. Also have to say that Leeds were asleep for a good while.
