    Starting XI

Would rather have Tiote and sissoko in the middle, we need some fire and some ariel ability in there, hated seeing anita and tiote get humiliated on high balls last season

    Starting XI

Would like to see: --------------------Krul------------------------- Janmaat-----Willo--------Colo---------Haidara ------------Sissoko------Tiote--------------- --Cabella---------De Jong---------Aarons-- ---------------Riviere------------------- If he's going for offensive then that's it for me. Tiote as the shield in front of defence and sissoko challenging for any ariel stuff through middle and giving us some surging power through middle. Aaarons merits a place on the wing even if it's an impact sub for Gouffran... Would be nice to see some real positive thinking...
  3. Colback looks ok, good squad player Goufran much the same, does what he has to do and doesn't make many mistakes, but without ever fully impressing you Sissoko is better in central midfield, looked good first half. Hopefully pardarse won't play him out of position this season The argie bloke hassled and won ball to set up Remy''s goal. Aarons goal was a fluke, he looked up to pass far post and got a goal out of an average cross...
  4. Obertan best man on pitch. How the fukc it's taken him xx years to get to this point??? Cabella has lots of energy and works hard to recover ball Aarons has pace to burn and will skin wingers day long. nice end product too Peach of a header from Riviere, good hold up play aswell Dummet played well in defence, colo too Thought abeid played tidy and won a lot of ball back, is he a defensive midfielder? (I have no idea but he played kind of like...)
  5. He looked our best player on the pitch by a mile today, pains me to say it but if he played anything near like he did today in the prem we would have a useful player. Liked Remy's energy and arons again also (although he is still quite "raw")
  6. Thought vlaar was outstanding during the world cup, apart from the penalty of course...
  7. I have never seen this "drive" from Marveaux, I have seen some classy touches and passing but these have mostly been outweighed by the fact he is so lightweight and doesn't ever look to want to be involved enough... We will never really know, the moron at the helm just doesn't have the intelligence to extract the best out of players, the team and alternative formations, styles of play.
  8. Forgot to mention, they have the most stupid accent and way of speaking ever heard (in Spanish) e.g. it is a mixture of sighing and speaking pronounced by a highly pitched depressed person. I am glad I am backed by the rest of latin america and Spain in my stereotyped view of this lot. COME ON HOLLAND! (wow, I'm impressed with my own world cup rage and grudge bearing!)
  9. It's funny, when you just have a glimpse at Muller he looks so clumsy, the way he runs and controls the ball etc, but after that glimpse you realize the intent, subtle skill and driven footballer that he is, you just sit back in awe... Total footballer for me! Also thought Sammy Khedira playing a little bit further up the midfield was awesome, he was never allowed to do this for madrid and was used as a defensive pivot in front of the defense, nice to see he has other attributes. Also feel a bit sorry for the Brasil fans. P.S. holland to stick it up the gypsy cheatin' barstewards and to bum them into oblivion!!! (For you youngsters out there: In a world cup many moons ago there was a vertically challenged romany beatnic of argentine origin who cheated against our boys. Since then, the said vagrant has gone from bad to worse, so no pardon should be given!) P.P.S. Forgot to mention their pathetic banner carrying antics before world cup! Only reason i would actually keep the Falklands is because they are a nation of tw**s. Yours Truly, Alf Garnet's Cousin; Buzza
  10. Agree, apart from a few nice touches he has done jack ship! Come on everyone, rose tinted glasses off! As for Ben Arfa, there seems to be an equal division of fault here. I personally would have him in the team even though his defensive intent is low, what he gives to the team in an attacking sense counterbalances this easily. Until the pratt we have as a manager leaves we will never get to the bottom (a rather fat one ) of this...
  11. Depends what your definition of a "footballer" is? Pardew's definition: Runs a lot, tackles a lot, doesn't take risks Silvian is obviously not a footballer for the above cretin!!!
  12. If we have a sweepstake on how many players we sign (purchase) from now, I will be wishing for the zero or one tickets!!!

    Alan Shearer

Although he was great as a player, the man is as thick as pig shiiite! Why the hell would we employ another imbecil who cannot see further than his own nose??? I want somebody with intelligence, with his own football philosophy and the balls to carry it through, although this is virtually impossible with a fat cnut like Mickey holding the reigns. P.S. His commentary on MOTD is bland, insipid and sleep provoking! What a complete tw*at he is...
  14. Rooney did everything well in an attacking sense, but he was very, very dissapointing defensively! Don't know how many times throughout the game I screamed at him to help out on the left wing, baines was up against two player the whole game nearly. As England were playing a more offensive approach you can't really pick on him only. Cahill and Baines were both very poor for the second goal, the first goal you could easily say was too lax by all of our team... We should be able to beat both Urine-guay and Cocksa-rica tbh...
  15. Can see brasil cruising it, they have a really well balanced squad and that front four of Hulk, Oscar, Neymar and Fred really do look convincing. Can see spain going out quite early, just can't see them maintaining form and they haven't looked good recently. Dark horses have to be England and belgium.
  16. I think he plays better out wide aswell, you need him in the team because of experience and also his teammates and opposition rate him higher than his current form dictates. I would go with: --------------------------Hart-------------------------- Johnson (aargh)------Jagielka-------Cahill-------Baines -----------Henderson(wiltshire)---Gerrard------------ ---Wellbeck--------Sterling-----------Rooney------ ----------------------Sturridge----------------------- Get some pace thrown at the italians as their defence has little pace. We need wellbeck to help out johnson cos' he's dogsh*te. I would also have wiltshire on for henderson at 60 minute mark or before if Woy was feeling a bit risque... Looking forward to see how we actually do in real games and if Woy has the guts to bring on some exitement instead of dreary defensive bolox
  17. From cabaye to noble... How depressing!
  18. Serious football club? Can you imagine the thought that goes into preparing the squad with these fuc*wits at the helm... Wouldn't it be nice to sign a manager and backroom staff with a semblance of intelligence e.g. Wenger/Van Gaal/Pellegrini...etc...etc
  19. Anybody understand a word she said? Hatem's grasp of english is pretty poor... Jeez, just reinforces the general footballer stereotype! :uglystupid2:
  20. I would laugh if we signed him... Unbelievable flop!
  21. This is torture, really is. Somebody pt us out of our misery!

    Vurnon Anita

I think the two with a proper AM worked very well. Throw in a real striker - some attacking wide men and we are laughing. Without a genuinely creative player (e.g. not Colback) it's too lacking I agree. I don't want to see Tiote-Anita-Colback in the same side. Agree, the 4231 formation with Cabaye as the "attacking midfielder" worked to perfection for us. You do need an outstanding centre forward for this to work well (see Remy). Keep Anita and Tiote together in deeper positions where they work in their optimum positions...
  23. buzza

    Kevin Keegan

See Brendon Rodgers at liverpool... probably closest comparison (we would need a striker to back Loic up tho)
  24. Wow, from the Mirror! Great piece of news...
