I agree with this. If he was working in Burger King would anyone have found out ? I don`t understand the sacking thing ? Are the people saying he should be sacked saying that he should sign on for the rest of his life ? Or is it ok for him to get a different job ? and when ? isn't the point that you or i would almost certainly be sacked by our employers for the same deeds? don't think anyone's saying he should never work again but the fact he's a footballer and has financial value as an asset to his employer (which the rest of us don't) is a heavy influence on matters I don`t know, do the police inform your employer once convicted ? He is not working with young children. Surely the punishment is the sex offenders list and the fine ? He didn`t use his job to do his dirty crappy offence. I`m just being open minded. I have daughters aged 16, 9 and 7. So I can understand the anger the parents are feeling but would I f*** let a 20 year hang around with my youngest two. The parents need to wake up too family friend or not. my point isn't whether things would/should be public, it's that if your name popped up in the paper for such a conviction and an employer read it you'd almost certainly be gone...he should be no different, anyone thinking they're standing by him to help him out is dreaming - it's because he's worth money to them mr mojo is 100% on the button here. We are guessing that his value is the main reason he is staying in employment. There could be his side of the story and any friendship he has built up with those around him and his bosses. It depends on your job and how well you do it, how well you know your boss and weather it would affect the business in negative way. Yes he is a bellend, but he doesn`t work with children and he does need help, seems hes stuck in his youth or thick as mince. Its not normal behaviour and sacking him will not suddenly make him a normal person with morals.

Wrong topic I suppose this should be in chat. •On average there are 28 stabbings per week across the region. Manchester. http://andrewstunell.org.uk/en/article/2009/032065/knife-crime-soars-across-greater-manchester-and-the-north-west

Depends where you live. A total of 832,439 crimes were recorded in London in 2009, There were 3,306 firearm offences, 12,611 Knife crimes recorded. Increasing yearly. HBA Tiote Carroll I know its all about opinions but AliGupter you need to check HBA`s goal on dailymotion.

That wasn't the issue at all. The real issue was starting Hernandes ahead of Nani (like ive been saying for weeks tbf). Wing play is the only way you have some sort of chance against Barca and Nani would have caused them problems from the start (he caused them problems when he came on). Hernandes was totally annonymous. Fletcher should have also started ahead of Giggs too but that wasn't as big a issue. I must have been watching a different match. Giggs and Rooney were the only 2 that did anything that worked. Fletcher as he has similar energy levels to Park, should have started over Carrick who did his usual watch the game go by and give the ball away. Hernandes was out of his depth, should have played Berba, but hindsight is makes it all easier to call.

Yeah looked like a penguin

it would be interesting to see what he'd be like with a midfield that could feed him as he makes good runs finding space between cerntre halves and full backs yetr i'm not sure if he'd be able to capitalise on it. as for doesn't defend, thats one of my major gripes with leon best and he done it again today, walking away from a man that needed tracking for their 2nd or equaliser. Yeah that pissed me off. Suddenly stopped following a player running for our goal with no one from our team near him. Just stopped and did a u turn.

I don`t like the new kit. - From a distance with the player standing side on it looks all black apart from the sleeves. - From the front it looks like a black waistcoat over a white t-shirt. - The 2 stripes at the bottom back looks like 11, so whoever gets the number 9 shirt will have 9/11 on the back. It looks alot better close up.

This is a first for me , jinxing something positively.

Who is the most technically inept player to (dis)grace our first team?
Rebellious replied to Ishmael's topic in Football
Got to be Shola. I have never seen another player in my lifetime look so confused once he has finally controled a ball. Its like he always forgets what to do next. Then amount of times I have seen him bring a ball under control first touch then tackle himself with his other foot. -
After there first usual deflected goal that goes in against us seemingly every game, we had possession at 77% - 33% I think. If only Ameobi didn`t loose the ball under his own feet and strike the ball softer than my 7yr old or Loven didnt play the ball back to Reina with that cushioned header we could have turned it around easily.

Taylor may have as many mistakes in him as Williamson but at least Taylor has the odd goal in him from set peices.

Has to be ramage or boumsong

My fisrt game was when Shearer cracked his head and had an arguement with bobby because it was1-1 vs Villa and bobby wanted to take him off. Nobby equalised. Heres a Pic of Shearer and his cracked head and bandage off, in the players lounge after. I think its the game that famous pic is from with the bandage on. http://i24.photobucket.com/albums/c17/Rebellious1/Shearer.jpg http://i24.photobucket.com/albums/c17/Rebellious1/637bb615.jpg My only other game was when we beat mallorca 4-1 in Europe, Titus kept Eto quiet all night and scored the 4th, was a laugh in the players lounge after. http://i24.photobucket.com/albums/c17/Rebellious1/Newcastle4-1RealMallorca-UEFACup.jpg Never been to a game since as its a 9 hour round trip.

It is "YOUR all time XI", not "THE all time XI" - let the guy have an opinion ffs Not all of us are 50 + years old or have a archive of footballing footage to study. Without turning it into a study of football I think those 2 are a good shout. Agree with Jonny.

Blackburn 0 - 0 Newcastle United - 12/02/11 - post match reaction from page 26
Rebellious replied to Dave's topic in Football
I've heard of lies, damned lies and statistics, but this is ridiculous - how many decent chances have been created an MISSED ? Also, 2 pens in the Arsenal game, so only 10 on 6 games from open play. Also, how many did we concede playing in those games v Bolton and WBA ? 8, I believe it was..... You can extract anything you like from any period to prove your point but we are living with reality here.. Tiote scored HOW many before last week ? Its not even his job and he won't get many more...how many will Coloccini get and it was his goal that won us a point against Spurs...? We have, as the expert alpal has pointed out, now lost Carroll and he has been replaced by a 34 yr old has been....we are looking at where the goals will come from in the NEXT 6 games, not the past. You had better hope that Best keeps doing it because Ranger and Lovenkrands won't....see yesterday. Nothing has changed since the beginning of January then. Carroll has been injured and is still injured and we don`t know when he will be match fit and how many games it will take for him to start scoring. Would have been the same here as his new club. He could have stayed here and got a reocurrence the first or second match back. No one knows. Its pointless even bringing him up. If and when he is back he starts scoring loads for them and we can`t score would be the only time worth talking about it. I can think of at least 4 games we won before he was sold he never scored in and a few we were already winning before he got a goal late on in that match. I think we will be fine especially with some better/younger attack minded midfielders to come back. -
Wheres the vote option for normal. This forum is getting a little embarassing. Move on FFS. BTW this is all Ameobi`s fault if he wasn`t our second choice striker we wouldn`t be as bothered.

West Ham agree fee in region of £15m with Liverpool for Andy Carroll
Rebellious replied to Pilko's topic in Football
Would Andy Carroll be worth 35mill next year ? With the new spending rules coming in will players values drop ? http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/football/europe/8256279.stm -

Who? You missed the part where i mentioned Ben Arfa. How well has Carroll played without Barton or Tiote in the team. What use is his Goals if Enrique isn`t defending as well as he is ? How many goals has Nolan scored ( Not saying for 1 second he deserves but he could say that ). -

Pardew said it would cause all sorts of problems if he got a better contract. I`m sure there are certain players at the club that feel they deserve more wages than Carroll. Who knows what Ben Arfa accepted etc. -

I would rather have the money. Not bothered and would never get silly money like that again, its only coz of circumstances in the first place , Torres/January/LFC league pos. -
I thought Ipswich but apparently Alan Curbishley lives here already.

Picking a combination that have never played together and who are both coming back from injury is a real gamble and probably wouldnt have worked either, albeit for different reasons. The positive thing is that we can now see what Campbell can bring to the side. I think he could form a good unit with Williamson. We spent years of playing a back four that hadn`t played together, a whole season once if I remember. Also spent a few years fielding players straight back from injury, its the Newcastle way j/ks. I just feel that those 2 wouldnt have got barged off the ball or forced into errors due to weakness. If we can`t bring these players back against Bolton or Blackburn who would we bring them back against ? Even if they weren`t upto it match practise wise we wouldn`t have kissed our goal difference goodbye.
