Looked knackered, played badly, just have those games sometimes where you get hammered when every thing the other team tries comes off. Reminded me of when we lost 3-0 at Villa in the 4th season, just couldn't lay a glove on them. Fair play. Still back us to finish above them.

Just think you have to say they’ve been better, don’t think we’re miles off it or anything, just been bettered.

Very difficult to buy back-up strikers who know that they’re not playing in a 1-striker system. I don’t know non-English football well enough to know anymore, but it can’t be an easy sell to someone who knows they’re behind Isak and without much prospect of usurping him. Still a big if, but Howe has Jacob Murphy currently performing as one of the most effective right wingers / wide forwards in European football.

If City had any real financial constrains in practice that would end up being a real albatross, but the rules don't apply to them.

I’m afraid I don’t. I think we’ve had all draws and 1 defeat since they came back up, from memory? Certainly we haven’t won against them under Howe but we’ve held our own in most games against them. Our point there this year looks very creditable.

Just not sure he does enough other than finishing (at which he is incredible); not a very dynamic player. Doesn’t seem to have kicked on physically like other players under Howe. Canny enough squad option but not sure that’s what you want for the price.
