Why on earth are we looking for a left back when we got one. Jose Enrique is far better than Riise, what excact is Riises qualities? Benitez tried from the start to replace Riise, but he managed to sign some worse defenders than him. Enrique is younger and a better defender, he has shown from now and then that he has some attacking qualities, but this is up to the coaches to coach him. Riise is a Liverpool and now Roma reject, and would come here only on silly wages(i bet 50k+). If Løvenkrands is free we should go for him as a short term solution just like ronny johnsen was that season we signed him. Our players shouldnt be allowed to talk to the press. We should fine the ones that talks negativly about us, and wants away. We are a big club, we are a premiersip club, and we should demand respect from our player, and they should respect their contracts. We are the club that made N'Zogbias name known i Europe and in the Premiership, so why the fuck is he so disloyal to us? He should appreciate what we have done for him, and start working on his own game instead.

We need a real manager to our club, someone with reputation(and im not talking Souness type of rep). With mediocre managers such as Souness, Roeder, Big Sam, kinnear etc isnt signs of a big club or a club going in the right direction. I agree what ure saying about we need 2-3 players to become a europe chasing side. The problem is, we need top class players in central midfield. If we get two class sentral midfielders i think we would be there. We need to replace Gary Speed which we never did, and replace Jenas of 02/03 the box to box player he was that season. If we can get in to players simular to that, we will be fighting for a place in europe.
