You are so right I think if we got Houllier we wouldn't be happy for long. His transfer record was atrocious, his tactics unbelievably negative and towards the end of his Liverpool rein a lot of reports about losing the dressing room and the supporters were willing to drive him back to France. On the other hand anyone is better than JFK. My vote would be Shearer and i wouldn't complain either if shock appointment of someone like Chris Coleman or Roy Hodgson. Houllier had some great buys too. Sami Hyypia, Dietmar Hammann, Stephane Henchoz, Vladimir Smicer, Markus Babbel, McCallister and loaned Anelka for one season. And his yout policy would fit Mike Ashleys policy, buy young french starlets. He did rebuild a liverpool team that was ageing and going nowhere. Dont remember their tactics really, but they had some great results under him, like the UEFA cup final against Alves were they won 5-4. But according to wiki it was boring and one dimensional, but hey we have been playing some boring footy for some years now, it cant be worse, can it?

Its time to let Kinnear go. It was ok that he came in when nobody wanted to come here, he was good as a temp manager, as soon as he got the deal to become permanent manager it seems like he has lost most of the squad. For me it seems like he is trying to get out most of our foreign players, allways going out talking crap about our foreign players, telling the press how bad Enrique is, how bad he played etc, and the zoggy thingy was just stupid. I am just waiting for him to come out and tell us how bad additude Coloccini, Jonas, Krul etc. Why on earth would Ashley give this guy a new contract? I could understand giving Kinnear an assistant role at a club, but nothing more. For me he is in the same category as Souness, and i dont think the club can survive 2 times souness's in the same decade. Look at liverpool, it took them ages to recover after souness was there. We need a manager with stability, tactics, and a good reputation. Our club name isnt enough to get players to come here anymore, our so cold best supporters in the league/world isnt the best anymore, we are the booo supporters, and cockney mafia out etc. Houllier was out telling he wanted the job before Keegan got it, we should go out ask him if he still wants it. He has good knowledge of french players, it seems like he has a good reputation too, and he did a good job with liverpool. Also the Swansea manager seems to be doing a good job and playing good football. The next manager we sign needs to have a 5 year plan, and be given a chance.

Maybe to many is like him, thats why we have a looooooong injury list? Its ok if all the other strikers were injured, but we had 2 on the bench so it was no need to sacrifice another one. I like the lad for trying, but sometime u have to think about the future and whats best for the team. He did say he was struggling but was basically told tough s***, what else can he do? We need central midfielders, if our manager and our scouting system cant see that, they must be blind. Butt isnt capable of anything anymore, he should play with a neutral shirt, and how many penalties has he given away this season? Barton is injury prone and does some stupid stuff now and then. Guthrie is out for 6 weeks. Geremi needs a wheelchear, he has lost his legs. Zoggy wants away and isnt really a central midfielder... Who is left then??

For this club to change we have to change it all. We need to sack Llambias and get a real chairman who knows to handle the press and the club, and lead by excample. - We need a real manager to take over our team, rather have an up an comming manager than a has been(that wasnt anything in the first place). If we can get a manager with a reputation, then we can get better players here. - We need coaches, who are specialist in different positions. They also must work together and have knowledge of the system we are playing. Our academy should adapt to the same formation our first team are playing, so they are suitet our team when they get a shoot at the first team. - Physios, we have the biggest injury list in the premiership so our physios aint doing the job they are paid for. Look at Ac Milan they have the best medical team in football. - Our Scouts are doing an ok job, but we need a bigger scouting network. And we need to separate the first team money and the academy money. - Players we sign must want to play for the club, and not just come here for the money. And we as fans must get behind the team, and trust the system. And not start singing sack the manager or sack the board after one or two bad games.

why not, man city are trying to get bellamy in, jo has hardly played, could easily get him on loan Hardly a bad deal for city either. He could come here and perform well, then they could sell him in the summer or keep him. If NUFC manage to get him on loan, they must get a buy-option in the summer if Mancity wants to get rid. Rather get Elano on loan this Get them both on loan, with options to buy.

Beckham is only standing still on the rightside, walking around... he doesnt seem fit to play full 90 min.

He can only run, cant shoot and cant pass the ball. He was a winger, but played the second halv of the norwegian league as a striker. I dont think he would make it in the premiership, if he leaves norway and brann he will go to holland or france, some midtable/lowtable team.

We have only got ONE, that is the problem! - We need cover as there is no specific full back to cover him. Same as right back, or do you enjoy watching Taylor and Edgar play there? You are right about centre midfield, but it's not down to lack of numbers for that position, its a matter of quality. We don't have that creative spark in the middle and it would be fantastic if we could get in a player to start picking up players up front with decent through balls. Do u honestly think Riise is comming to Newcastle to sitt on the bench? He is comming here as a first team player nothing less. And do you think we will keep Enrique if we get Riise? In many interviews have Kinnear went out and said he was looking to cash in on Enrique, not excactly a moral boost for the guy... Think Taylor has had a few decent games on Right back, but latly he has been shit. I think he is better as a right back than a central defender, but thats my opinion. But we have decent 1st team players in these positions, so they shouldnt be Pri1 in my book. We lack a creative and a defensive midfielder. To be fair, if we are gonna play 4-4-2 i rather have two box to box midfielders. Two midfielders who can protect, and if they win the ball they can make those through balls.

That being one of the main of problems. We should buy a backup for Jose Enrique, a young french back should do it. If we buy Riise I bet ya we are gonna offload Enrique.
