I dont like how he reacted to the carroll case. The problem is that some of our squad members are still good friends with carroll, so for him to come out calling carroll a liar doesnt help the team moral imo. The club should simply have said: "Carroll has made his descision and all the best of luck to him in the future." Nothing more or less, let the supporters make their own opinion on what happenede.. Like the commentator said last night, Carroll could simply have rejected Liverpool if he wanted. I think he got his tactics wrong yesterday, fulham were dominating us in the start of the second half.. he should have changed to 4-5-1 imo. Put barton in to the midle and lovenkrands on the wing, and tried to win the game from midfield.

I just love this shit about NUFC. We needed a winger and a striker before this transfer window. Now we are a Winger and most likely a striker short after it.

Cant see why we're going to pick up Ireland from villa, doesnt make any sense. We have Nolan, Ben Arfa(soon back probably), Vuckic who all can play there perfectly, so why one more attacking midfielder. He has been awfull for Villa this season... I rather we try to get Vuckic going or someone else than him...

Harper - 7 Had some good saves, but he seriously needs to work on kicking the ball. Simpson - 7 Was good for most of the game, but doesnt have the pace against ppl like Lennon. Colo - 9 - Very good both defending and attacking. Took his goal like a striker would. Happy B-day Colo Williamson - 8 - Was solid today. Enrique - 7.5 - Did very good against Lennon, wasnt as good offensive as he use to be Barton - 7 - Had a good game, but in another team he would have been taken off around 70 min. Didnt have any juice left in his legs. Nolan - 6 - did make some good stops and defensive work, missed his offensive runs. Looked tired. Guthrie - 6.5 - Had a few good crosses. Tried his best, needs to work on his tactics and get some more muscles. To bad if he is injured for the next game. Gutierrez - 8 - Very good game of Jonas. Still needs to work on his crossing when he is running down the flanks. Best - 6 - I give him a 6 because of his shot in the woodwork. He looks like a very slow player, and isnt to good to get in good positions either. Ameobi - 6.5 - Should have had a goal or three today. Loven - 5 - He looks afraid of getting to near the opposite players. He is always jumping away from 70/30 duels. Ranger - 7 - Should have been intorduced much earlier. He has the pace to play next to Carroll.

Only reason i can see Pardew chose Lovenkrands over Ranger is because he used Lovenkrands as a winger.

A big mistake from pardew to not have any central midfielders with him in this game. I dont see the point of having 3 strikers on the bench, and where is Vuckic? We lost the balance of the team when Perch came in for Guthrie.

No way. He hasn't dealt with the premier league at all. Dunno why we would help Liverpool unload such a shitty player. I must agree with sicko2ndbest on this one. Babel hasnt been given a chance to shine in liverpool, and i think he would be awesome in a club like ours

Maybe Pardew is rateing Barton as a central midfielder. Wonder if Bentley or Barton would be any good at the left side of midfield? And Gutierrez might be better off playing AMC since he cant cross the ball. I think Kranjcar would be a better signing than Bentley tbh. I have a feeling that Bentley will offer the same as Duff did for us, dont know why..

Robbie Keane has been shit since he went to liverpool... If he can get his form back to pre-liverpool time then it would be worth it... but he is a massive gamble.

We dont have any attacking game.... we havent had that for some while now, we are only going for the barton to carroll or carroll do it all by himself.

Our freekicks have been really really bad today... Cant wait for ben arfa to come back, we need someone that can shoot direct freekicks.

I think this is good news, he is a good backup for our right back and our central defenders. I still hope we will go for David Weather(havent seen him since boro where in the PL).

Think he is our best player

Think he did ok(rate 6.5/7 cant decide). Tried to challenge their defenders a lot of time and it worked. Think he needs to work at his crossing then he would be very good for us, he is always trying a weak chip into the box which is very easy to defend and very difficult for the striker to head in.

Bet it was a good xmas party yesterday for the players...
