  1. From what I've understood fines for being overweight is pretty basic stuff at professional football clubs. However putting him in with the reserves and treating him like a bag of shit definetely isn't.

  5. Real Madrid..or Real Madrid Castilla are buying a 23 year old Finnish striker from AIK Stockholm for 2,2m€ with a possible 1m more. Apparently AIK's biggest transfer ever. http://as.com/videos/2014/07/21/portada/1405975367_951892.html Really really weird. You asked and they delivered
  6. Fuck off you negative cunts. We've looked good since the goal.
  7. How's that down to the formation? From what I've seen it's more down to bad passes, heavy touches and no movement from players.
  8. Won our work World Cup bet. 250€
  9. This is the first time in ages I've felt proud supporting this club. Good for you everyone there
  10. I don't really know, a combination of things from luck, bad player performances to managerial mistakes etc. If the question was for me, I was making a point about approach and specifically not results. It's mostly because the club doesn't have a philosophy about how to play the game. A style of play that is implemented at every level of the club all the way from the kids to the first team. Players in the first eleven might have a clue about what the guy next to them is going to do next but this is down to them getting to know each others style. It should be down to every player following a coherent plan of playing, where to move, where to pass, how to pass, when to slow it down, when to apply pressure, depending on the area of the pitch. This in my opinion causes changes in the squad to make the players look like headless chickens running around. The player coming in doesnt have a plan of play to follow and he doesnt know the other players well enough to guess what they are doing next.
  11. Cisse is absolutely useless at this moment in time. If De Jong vaguely resembles a useful footballer then of course it strengthens us. Would you swap your Ferrari that has a flat tyre to my Toyota Corolla just so you can get to work tomorrow? Perfect comparison in my opininion
  12. This seems to have gone viral now because of 101greatgoals http://www.101greatgoals.com/blog/an-epic-94th-min-miss-epic-er-finish-a-finnish-3rd-division-match-may-have-been-the-best-football-match-ever/ Got an email from Norway's main tv channel asking if they can use the clip for an article on their website. And now I got an email from The Guardian asking for the video file so they can put it on their website

  14. 100, first ever. Had Jenkinson on the bench with 12p and my keepers didnt play.
  15. Who was that lad from Eredevise who was baging them then a few years back , then Boro paid 12 million for him...Turned out to be a flop. Afonso Alves.
  16. Regardless. Idiotic to run that close to the line in a situation like that. He could have been two yards onside and still made it through on goal easily.
  17. Suarez © and Lukaku setting me up for another decent week
  18. Coming from a horrible footballing country I've always found this really weird. Is it a common thing everywhere in England? I can't imagine what would make me so apatethic towards the Finland team.
  19. Anyone read The Numbers Game - Why Everything You Know About Football Is Wrong? Sounds pretty good and definitely offers an interesting view. For example a bit someone told me about it: goal from a corner in the PL requires an average of 50 corners, and when you count the risk of being hit by a counter attack, the value of corners is practically zero. So is it really worth the time to practice corners? http://www.theguardian.com/books/2013/may/24/numbers-game-everything-football-wrong
  20. Yeah I didnt put that video together
