    Jonas Gutierrez

Mixed reviews on our Jonas today (as ever!). I thought he was industrious and had some really devastating link-up play with Enrique down the left.
  2. Top player, think he'll continue to shine in the PL. Hope he develops confidence with his left foot, he cut in excellently one or two times and could have let rip but continued going sideways Excellent overall though.
  3. Williamson was a fantastic signing. Amazing value for money there.
  4. Ian Wright developing I take it? Zamora is pushing on 30, though he does seem to have some engine on him. Have to give him credit for how hard he's worked to carve a reputation out for himself and make it into the England team. No spring chicken but he's probably playing the best I've seen him play in his career in terms of his overall contribution to the team.
  5. Fulham look pretty strong. Zamora is developing well, too.
  6. Ferguson isn't going to let Nani start for ten years as penance.
  7. Cheers for the tips Kaizero, trying one of your doubles for the first time - Rosenborg and Viking

    aston villa

Wait until you get to the guy who'd rather eat his parents than rewatch the game.......
  9. Hopefully we can avoid picking up too many more yellows. The refs will always be quick to give Barton and Smith yellows...
  10. According to BBC we had 13 shots on target compared to 1 for Villa. Also 6 off target, compared to 1 for Villa. Possession 60-40.
  11. Well done young padawan, another fantastic win today!
  12. There's always one who takes it too far. Don't be fucking ridiculous man. Tbh, I don't think it's a stupid question to ask. We weren't going anywhere in the Premiership. I think we would have continued to carry and fail to shift dead weight. Relegation was almost inevitable. Even if we'd survived 2008/09 we were just postponing it. Going down might have been the best thing for us in the long run. We haven't moved the ball around with such confidence in a long time and I think that's largely down to being able to develop on-pitch relationships against easier competition. This is just one side to the argument obviously but I don't think it's a stupid comment to make by any stretch of the imagination.

  14. I had Carroll in my team. So proud.
