Bad form by the whole of N-O lately from the looks of it. Consider myself fortunate I missed the weekend's football and only put on a free bet tonight tbh!

Blimey, a whole week away... I know it's more tiring for the players, but I like Christmas time when there's football Saturday-Wednesday-Saturday, dammit!

Missed this weekend's football having been away and saw this. Having been gutted initially and feared the worst, it was somewhat edifying to hear that we didn't play too badly and that equally Blackpool put in a remarkable away performance which caused Holloway to say it was the best night of his managerial life! Still very disappointed that we didn't put our chances away, but next week's fixture will be tough against an Everton aside who seemingly haven't got just rewards for their performances of late. Here's hoping for better fortune/clinical play next week. Also, was anyone's performance so bad that Hughton would consider starting someone else? Perch? Smith? [/still haven't seen the game]

Just don't pick any players i've got in my team. I'm thinking about changing my team out, going to cost me 20-24pts, basically more than i got last gameweek What's your team name? 'Utter utter crap' even wor lass is beating me and she started a week later and is picking players by who she knows, who she 'likes' and those who haven't had affairs. These are my two changes im thinking about: first i saved before the NT break, the second the one i've done tonight. • Gomes replaced by Cech • Ireland replaced by Barton • Chamakh replaced by Carroll • Harewood replaced by Bent • Gomes replaced by Cech • Dann replaced by Richards • Shawcross replaced by Alex • Jones replaced by Vidic • Ireland replaced by Ben Arfa • Albrighton replaced by Gutierrez • Lampard replaced by Bale • Harewood replaced by Carroll Same. "I don't like what he did to Cheryl, but he is good...." Your team doesn't look terrible to me, but Everton/Arteta are slow-starters and Lampard has underperformed. Keep Chamakh.

My first season of FF, and though I'm (relatively) shite, I'm completely addicted!! Not a sausage why it's so addicting. I spend hours looking at my side, tinkering with potential transfers, in full knowledge I'll only ever press 'confirm changes' on Friday evening/Saturday morning of the next gameweek. Even during the fucking international break! How is it so addictive!? Any tips for the following gameweek?

Campbell in for Williamson would be bonkers IMO.

Shame the 'injury latest' section is still down, really keen to know if AC is 100% yet.

Not sure if you can read this, but as it stands Newcastle are top of the league: http://fantasy.premierleague.com/M/stats.mc?stat=bestfave

Re: little brother comment - just some bad fans I've encountered. All clubs have them, I know, but I've had the misfortune of speaking to those fans. As I've said, plenty of good fans too. Not sure I agree about the attractiveness of your football, but to each their own. Re: Cahill - I'd be ashamed to have what I can only describe as a bitchman in my team, the same way I cringed every time Michael Owen and Damien Duff dived. He's worse than both of those though, because he both dives and commits particularly cowardly pieces of aggression... and generally follows it up with some whinging. Him getting sent off at the World Cup was glorious.

Anyway, to answer your question, for me personally they are Liverpool's annoying little brother and can be on occasion too mouthy. During my lifetime as a football fan, they've also played some of the most negative and defence-minded football in the Premiership for such a well established club. Also, Tim Cahill. They do have many redeeming qualities and a good few fans (1878 and Niel for example seem alright) but on the balance of things, they could do with being taken down a peg IMO.

Probably not the best, but as it hasn't been mentioned yet, breaking our "London Hoodoo" 3-1 at Highbury to go top of the table for Christmas was pretty damn special.

Liverpool, Everton and Spurs please. (Blackpool, West Brom, West Ham).
