He's slow and he resorts to pulling players shirts. That said Geremi, Car maybe Edgar too and Taylor can all deputise for Beye at RB so we are not desperate right now but should be on the look out for a young up and coming kid.

Given, Harper, Beye, Taylor, Faye, Zoggy, Milner, Barton ??(if he can stop beating people up), Martins Voted for 9 however 2 are keepers + big question mark over Barton. We need a world class 'big man' type striker who is quick strong and knows where the goal is. Also another Faye type player at either CB or DM would be great and an atacking CM.

A few wrong uns stood out to me like sore thumbs. Firstly giving Taylor a 5 and cacapa a 7 gives me the impression you may be one of those very pro foriegn managers and players. If anything its Taylor 7 and Cacapa 5. Butt is a 7 at the absolute most. His passing is very wayward. The rest are pretty much right, within a point of their scores imo. Athough i'd point out that Shay is an 8 imo and in previous seasons has been 9.

Well summed Parky. Coulden't agree more. Not sure if even Viduka believes that crap. If he does then maybe he and others are a bit deluded. Viduka for a big bloke doesn't get up to win 50/50 headers he needs it pretty much laid out on a plate for him to have a go. Even when it is played to he feet with he's only slightly better. We need better than the likes of him, he has no pace or fight or grit of note really imo.

I was disappointed by duff today. Zoggy worked his arse off, beat people, won free kicks, had a few half decent shots. Duff didn't do any of the above did he?

Like Martins alot. Our top scorer last season and this season. Works his arse off, lightning quick and rarely injured. which is more than i can say for the rest of our strikeforce. i'd be disapointed if we sold him however if i were him then i'd probably want to go too. Getting played rarely as a striker would piss me right off.

One thing i have really noticed lately and even more so tonight is our players don't get to the oppositions byline and cross at all any more. Today Duff was on the RW so always cut inside onto his favoured Left, But even The Zog who used to get in behind defences alot cut inside all the time, i strongly suspect under orders from Sam, which annoys me.

Given 7 - good Roze 4 The weakest 6'3 CB ever? Taylor 7 Good Faye 8 Excellent. Pretty much faultless performance. A Rock. Enrique 7 Good in the main one or two minor mistakes. We need Faye as CB marking their 6'4 no. 10 he's a big lad and will shrug Roze and Cacapa off no worries. Faye's definitely the man to mark him. Although agree Butt and Smith need replacing

I like the look of Enrique, one mistake but otherwise good. has played the ball out really well from the back. Our best players that half were 1. Zoggy who was working his arse off making dangerous runs down the left, cutting inside. 2. Faye, a rock 1st half. Coped well with everything thrown at him. 3. Enrique, playing it out well from the back and cool under pressure. Worst Players 1st half 1. Butt, very dodgy passing and shooting. 2. Smith, not a CM creates nothing. 3 Viduka has won nothing in the air. The rest just ok

Have to say I don't agree at all. Charles needs to develop as a out and out Winger, holding him back and sticking him Left Back is not only damaging the team but its damaging the progression of one of the best young attacking players at the club. Seeing N'Zogbia get pulled to pieces by Shuan Wright-Phillips was not a sight I enjoyed yesterday nor did I think it was doing him good "in terms of development". Agree with Gallogate end. Play him on the LW ffs and Milner on the RW we need creativity. There both good at tracking back and digging in when needed. Smith or/and Martins can defend from the front an drop back into the MF when needed. We need to be more creative and maybe thenwe can look at introducing Owen or Viduka to finish our chances.

I like Martins alot, he's our top goalscorer and our most threatening striker. So yes lets play him rightwing?......Madness!!!! Funny how his goals have started to dry up!

Given Beye Taylor Cacapa Enrique Milner Faye Emre Zoggy Smith Martins Subs: Harper, Roze/Edgar, Butt/Geremi, Duff, Viduka/Owen I'd put out the grafters as we will need another perfomance like V Arsenal imo With Smith and/or Martins defending from the front and dropping back into midfield to help out. Duff to come on if either Milner, Enrique or Zoggy are ineffective and if we are creating chances and not scoring then think about putting on Owen/Viduka for their finshing. Worried that Faye may not be 100% fit which would be very bad for us.

Its a gamble going for Shearer yes. But if we haven't improved by the end of the season it's one i'd definately be willing to make. I think he'll do very well as a manager as do most people within the game. As a player he's the type of manager you want to play for. If he fails he fails, we move on, but he has the best chance of making a Keegan type impact. Klinsman, Keegan, Van Basten and Keane have all done really well as rookie's and i think Shearer could be better. Hopefully he'd have a good team around him, Rob Lee, Gary Speed, Venables are all names that spring to mind.

Derby the worst team in the league should have completed the double over us today. Not good enough. Sam may deserve longer but not much longer if this dross continues. Given 6 - didn't do much wrong. Beye 6 - Got forward well at times but probably not enough. Missed a header. Roze 3 - Bramble MK2 ?? Nut megged fot the goal and just not strong enough. Cacapa 6 - Not bad. Good at times. Zoggy 6.5 - Creative going forward. Wasted at the back? Yes imo we need him creating more. Milner 5.5 - Good at times, creative, wasted two really good chances though, he needed to be better should have scored today. Barton 5.5 - Good passing forwards but caught in possesion several times. Butt 6 - ok ish Martins 5.5 - Ran his arse off needed to be better. Looks better up top than stuck out on the RW. Smith 5 - SHOOT FFS!! Tried hard but what use is a striker who never seems to shoot? Should have had a pen. Viduka 7 - Two good finishes. Subs Taylor 6.5 - Miles better than Roze. Duff 7 - Livened things up ran at them. Emre 7 Creative, needs to start imo.
