If Pardew doesn't wake up from his 4-4-2gasm then 9th-12th. If we play 4-3-3 consistently, top 8.

Newcastle bid £12m for Carroll and won't budge. Sunderland sign Fletcher for £14m from a Championship club.

Why do I only ever read Burger-mania when I see his name written. I actually said that was his name to a friend of mine who supports Spurs and he took it to heart too! -
In having R. Taylor and Cisse atm, it makes me realise we've got 2 incredibly gifted strikers of the ball in our team now. Such a shame the rest of R. Taylor's game isn't up there with the rest of the team, would be great to have him there for the free kicks.

Not losing any of our first team for me is a good window before anything else happens.

Shouldn't be pandering to Harper. Let Krul play some of the games to get experience organising a defence against European opposition. Would do him the world of good. Eliott for CC.

I doubt very much that the Scottish 3rd Division can provide any beneficial experience to any of our Club apart from the U14s.

It is funny if you believe it's a forum, but it isn't. It's an online tea-party.

Took 25 years since 1970 for a player based outside UK+Ireland to win Goal of the Season, wow.

I really wonder how long it's going to take them to recover from their Souness-equivalent era

All lies. There is no TV money. Only money from player sales can be spent on anything, like contracts and free transfers.

It's fair to say that people tend to romanticize past idols for off the field feats, as it were, in various sports like with Tyson as you say Ronaldo. Often happens with players like Le Tiss, who usually now just get mentioned for his amazing goals he scores and effortless ball control, but would often go completely missing for several games on end as he trundled around the pitch checking his wristwatch for when he needed to punt it out for a throw. Just realized in saying that, there was no off the field feat with Le Tiss but meh /ramble /ramble /ramble lol

Top 6 and getting past Christmas in the Europa next season I'd be bloody happy with.

Dare I re-ignite the old debate, but it did seem at times our gameplan was again to pump it long to two players who can't play that role and tell Cabaye and Tiote to sit deeper than where they could contest the second ball? Granted City were the much better team on the day, and you would never know now how our middle 3 would have stood up man to man against the opposition, but at home with the crowd behind us it would have been nice to have seen us play in our recognized strongest formation, rather than pander to one of our out of form strikers :/ That said it's hard to fault the players and I applaud them for a wonderful season that I can be quoted as saying that I had no belief at all in our team at the start of the year.

Very sad to see Jonas exposed so often today, seemed off the pace and lacking the awareness of the rest of the team. Has to be pushed inside like I said at half time if he's to continue instead of keeping Ferguson out, who was like an absolute breath of fresh air when he came on.
