Schar has been good all day.

Longstaff

Bring Isak in then. Better option than Murphy surely even if it’s not his preferred position.

I’d image that a fair few of those players are on insane wages— beyond the means of a well-run club. With Everton and Villa hitting FFP they’re running out of domestic clubs that can afford to buy their castoffs. I’d hope Nufc is smart enough to steer clear. There’s not much value for the money, and no reason to help them out in any way.

Nah. Good result today against a poor side. Bournemouth and Southampton have to be favorites for relegation.
-
Why? First it was the red team and now the blue one. Why should a kid from Ukraine have any feeling for one or the other? If anything I’m amused that Arsenal fans would take a few social media posts as a sign of devotion. He was posting about Arsenal because that’s where the rumours were. (Arsenal are one of the few ESL clubs that I don’t actively hate, but I can’t bring myself to feel sympathy for their fans. They’re as entitled as the rest.)

Tielemans, I assume.

Didn’t see the game, but I just watched the highlights. Looks like Longstaff could have had four. His xG must have been insane. -
Right.

Wading into this… It seems to me that black francophone players get more shit from the English media than any other demographic of professional footballer. I don’t know if racism is a factor in the way fans think and talk about ASM, but I can certainly understand why someone might suspect that prejudice has had a part. (My experience comes completely from what I read/view online.) -
Great news. Really want to see the end of Berhalter, but terrified US soccer would hire RM as his replacement.
-
Honest to God, when first saw this on Twitter I thought it said that Vince McMahon was looking to take over NUFC.
-
Pep can afford to be magnanimous. He knows they will win in the end.

The Europeometer™ (2024/25) - NUFC Qualify for Conference League (at least)

Two clean-sheet draws and I’m still doubtful. Arsenal weren’t impressive. They’re going to have to buy another attacking outlet or I think City will catch them. (Same with us and Man United.) -
Dubravaka would have cost us several points by now IMO. No way he keeps all of those clean sheets. Edit: already taking Pope for granted.
-
Everton and Lampard will do. Villa and Gerrard was also acceptable.
-
They were hustled. Let this mark spend all the money he wants.

We win the next two and I’ll start to believe. What I cannot believe is how every other team in this league are shit all of a sudden. When did they all get so bad? -

Absolutely.
