    Joelinton

Well, thanks Joe. I am having a great weekend.
  2. AFTV videos appear more levelheaded about the game than the professional pundits. All they the pundits want to talk about VAR and drum up the controversy. The AFTV vids I watched seem more focused on their shortcomings, while acknowledging that winning away at St. James’ is a hard ask. Both sides were tired, missed key players, and offered next to nothing going forward. Looking forward to playing Arsenal over the next few years. Some bad blood brewing between the squads.
  3. One of them is upset about Given as a commentator. Complains that he can’t get away from Newcastle in the media. “They’re always on”
  4. Well if you are going to play someone as slow as Matt Ritchie, you can do a lot worse than Man Utd.
  5. This is streamed on Live Score. (If you are in Ireland on a VPN that says you are there.
  6. Why can't we have nice things. I suppose they'll stick with ten Hag a bit longer
  7. Makes no sense to have a ten-point scale if the lowest score given is a 4 or 5.
  8. Sancho, Ronaldo, or Maguire at Man United and Fraser at Newcastle United aren't even the same thing. of course, the club kept in in house. Nobody gives a f*** about Ryan Fraser except Ryan Fraser. Like most non-"United" fans, I 'm sick of the constant media attention they get. But they do get it. What paper or website is going to waste their time writing about Ryan Fraser forced to play with the reserves? edit But yeah, Eddie and the club handled it well. Also, he does well to avoid inventing problems like Gerrard did when he stripped the captaincy from Tyrone Mings.
  9. Progress will be something like Man City > Man Utd > Liverpool > Arsenal > Port Vale
  10. Easy home draw. Want to see more of the kids. Rest the back line. kids = Lascelles, Dummett
  11. Didn’t see, but so much sounds encouraging… Joelinton back, Livramento, a rest for the starting back line, and a clean sheet.
  12. https://www.theguardian.com/football/2023/sep/27/aston-villa-demand-new-kit-players-complain-weighed-down Aston Villa have complained to their kit manufacturer Castore after players reported concerns that their shirts were weighing them down during matches and affecting performance. Villa have asked the Manchester-based sportswear company to remedy the issue after players said the shirts were clinging to them because of perspiration, creating a wet look.
  13. They didn’t look too bad the first ten minutes or so. But we took it up a notch the minute Gordon stepped on the pitch.
