  1. He’ll be on the phone to his agent; “Look tell Man U to piss or get off the pot. I’m running out of options here!"
  2. It’s not going to entice him if it's not his preference.
  3. Do we think we could kick on with a disgruntled player there by contract only?
  4. Remember, it started with, "he's interested in the project" to now hearing "He favours ManU" we had some justification in pursuing this; now we're looking for the definitive.
  5. I can't imagine there's any training today, but I could see Eddie and Co. showing up to grind out some resolution, since Isak will (should) be there.
  6. SSN "He's leaning towards Manchester United" Their sources.
  7. The bid isn’t rejected nor agreed. Still talks. Any gamblers here? What odds would you have given had Man U put in the same bid before we did? I think, at the very least, we wouldn’t be hearing the player wants to see his options. They’d know. He’d know. I don’t think you’d be hearing “He’s interested in what Newcastle have to say”. Somebody here, said, very intelligently I thought, he’s a young foreign player, in a foreign league and it may be he doesn’t know that much about us. It may be we aren’t the draw we think we are. Yet. But I’m confident there wouldn’t be this unsure climate following genuine interest from MU. But, what the hell do I know?
  8. I don’t think this will happen (I hope I’m wrong) He’s waiting for ManU isn’t he? He wants them. If he wanted us, we’d know by now. Move on. Eddie just wants players that want to play for us. We can all agree on that. (That goes for Isak as well).
  9. He’ll go to Man U for less than we’ve offered.

    NUFC Transfer Rumours

Assuming no conflict of interest and she's in decent health, why not appoint Amanda as an ambassador; let her go to the clubs,(with their permission) and sell NUFC? She always seemed to prevail in Transfer activities and I bet she'd still do a great job with our target's clubs.
  11. However it hangs, this behaviour cannot be rewarded. His only redemption would be (if he stays) for the club to say promises were made and he felt fucked over, but its all cool now. That’s not gonna happen.

    Yoane Wissa

This lad is the pivotal one: he’s not a replacement for Isak (who is) but with him onside we can go after whoever and still have someone who can find the goal.
  13. Get him and Wissa in first; then concern ourselves with Isak. Not the other way around.
  14. He has to go. What use would a disgruntled player be to the club, fans and team mates? He just wouldn't be trying and he'd get dogs abuse.

Agreed, he's not Isak's replacement. Who is? Simply, to sell Isak, without incoming means we have no strikers (unless you've faith in Osula) going into a season that should have been remarkable for all the right reasons.

Shola’s nod on to Shearer for that Everton blockbuster, was sublime and greatly undermentioned.
  17. Its going to be important to find players that want to come here; there’s only one we know of.

We now HAVE to make the move! They say he’s not for sale. So why then reject our offer? Wouldn’t have made more sense to have made no comment? A sensible offer they can’t refuse.

We need him in regardless of Isak. Make a proper offer; get the job done. Now.

    NUFC Transfer Rumours

No I’m not suggesting that. As i said previously, if we’re not prepared to do that then we need to shop for decent prospects.
