Good to see we seem to be getting people in early when possible to they can bed in to the squad and get some pre-season under their build before the league starts.
-
liar and fair enough. Everton have a wealth of CMs as it is tho - Cahill, Felliani, Billy...., Arteta, etc. They need wide men IMO.

Lee Ryder is having Spaghetti Bolognese for tea is the other announcement.
-
Absolutely guarenteed to get injured before the end of August.
-
Slow over 10 yards, quick over 50 type of player. Could be worse and hopefully its only a 12 month deal. Can't wait to see the Sol surge.
-
I'd be happy with him. Definitely better than Smith. Wouldn't cost much either.
-
for the first time in history looking forward to watching Everton next season (didn't see them at all last), very attractive looking team potentially. Get off to a hot start and could easily be in the European shake up.

Supafan tbh.
-
That Andrew Surman? Good acquisition if so.
-
GKs - Foster, Robinson, Kirkland RBs - Richards, Mancienne LBs - Baines, Gibbs CBs - Jagielka, Lescott, Shawcross, Smalling RMs - Walcott, Moses LMs - Young, Johnson CMs - Parker, Huddlestone, Wilshere, Rodwell CFs - Bent, Carroll,Sturridge Agbonlahor

Centre Forward Ben Arfa Ozil Marin has the makings of some very exciting football for Werder fans.

Weren't we heavily linked with Bousouffa a couple of seasons back and it came to nothing. I agree with your general point though, with some clever scouting there is a lot of talent to be got fairly cheap before they hit the big 2 in the Eredivisie. If we're buying clever Belgium, Holland, Scando's, South/Central America is where we need to be.

If Leon Best is playing games next season we deserve to go down. The lad is average at Championship standard at best.
-
I'd have thought it would only be a selling point if you were in for a player with a club that didn't have this. Hence why its best to buy players from (extremely) foreign countries in pairs.
-
that'd be a dream come true.

I could name you a similar list from his time at Portsmouth to be honest mate. Twente had been a lot better than Feyenoord for a good couple of years before McCLaren took the job. Feyenoord have been w*** for a while but for Twente to come second and then win the league ahead of PSV and Ajax who are infinitely bigger clubs in terms of absolutely everything is nothing short of sensational. If it was a rookie manager people would be queueing up to laud it. Especially considering they sold their best player summer 2009 (Elia) and the lack of money he spent to achieve it. Really interested to see how he fares at Wolfsburg. I don't know how much say he had, but Ruiz and Stoch were both fantastic signings. Fully agreed. Getting Rajkovic and Theo Jansson creates a strong backbone to the team n all. I still can't get over why Chelsea have let Stoch go for £2.5m - absolute madness. It sickens me that we weren't interested. Couldn't fit our bill more either. Couldn't agree more, Janssen was a real find, he just had a great balance of youth and experience. Rajkovic might be one to try a cheeky bid for, but Stoch I think is too similar too routledge just he has more attacking strengths in terms of his shooting and penetration. He seemed to get the best out of an old N'Kufo. From what I've seen he is a more complete player than Routledge but you could easily accommodate him, Jonas and Routledge in the squad especially considering we have 0 backup for wingers as it is. I'd be startled if his (Stoch's) next move wasn't for at least double what he cost this summer. ----------------- N'Kufo has joined the MLS now hasn't he?

Aye I know Dave but thought I'd stick me oar in regardless. Chris, Fab and Otamendi IMO are too similar to play together in English football. Too much the classic the Latin American defender.
-
It would only make sense signing Otamendi if we were selling Coloccini and we won't get more him than Otamendi would cost so it's obviously bollocks.

No way. Steed is a class act although his form for the mackems has been patchy I believe.
-
I'm a Jonas fanboy but if Routledge continues where he left off last season I'll agree. (Hopefully he does)
