Shearer then Berbatov the lifelong Newcastle fan would be fantastic.
-
N'Zogbia in a Keegan team is a real mouth-watering prospect, can't wait.
-
Shearer sounds like he would be up for it if asked.
-
Enrique getting a cross in, thats more like it!
-
Anyone see it, what exactly happened, a fly elbow?
-
Emre and Zog in the centre, proper wingers, bliss.
-
Whatever happens it should be exciting anyway.
-
Thats very harsh on him, from what i saw he was pretty pissed off the media were hounding him and theres nothing wrong with what he said.

Not another favourite? Eh? http://www.rfi.fr/actufr/images/055/foot_desailly220.jpg http://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/commons/b/b9/Didier_Deschamps.jpg The way I tell them apart is, one is a f*cking lazy thick n***** and the other is Desailly.

Who?! Just saw that

I think Houllier with Shearer as no2 would be a very positive appointment. I remember Liverpool being quite exciting when he was manager too.

You're a proper grump today. He's right though.
-
Keegan looks like he was just wishing the cameras would fuck off and leave him alone.

Wow, I agree with some of that, a few points are a bit ary though. The crowds one is good mind, it lives long in all Scottish fan's memories, the night in the mid 80s when Rangers got less than 3000 to a Premier League game. They (and Celtic) are glory hunters of the highest order, although Rangers are worse in this respect. Some of your points however are Celtic bashing for the sake of it. Everyone in Scotland calls the Daily Hun, and Hunday Mail that, it's not a Celtic preserve because it is by and large just the Rangers News transported into a daily national papaer. Most would also claim that Rangers get favoured by the SFA and Scottish LEague, although Celtic are a very close second. In defence of them both, neither set of fans really go on about being a big club in the way you claim, they follow what you quote as being the Man U style, which is that they know they are big clubs and don;t bother telling everyone about it. I do however agree that they mean nothing in England, but that's because you're English and anything SPL is looked down upon. Really, Celtic and Rangers are big names worldwide, much as that pains me to say so. I detect a slight smarting after Souness' (was him I think? )comments on Sunday perhaps when he asked why would Gordon Strachan move to a smaller club like Newcastle, or that he'd managed much bigger clubs than Newcastle such as Rangers etc.....? Is that the real reason for the rant? A much more balanced view! Celtic are a massive, massive team worldwide. Rangers probably not quite the same in terms of worldwide support but Celtic have the Irish appeal aswell as the Scottish.

Fucking shocking, no wonder the managers floundered the way they did with that clown dealing with transfers.
-
Sounds a lot more like it anyway, if Van Gaal is looking fo a step up then he might be up for it, Houllier is a good manager with great contacts throughout the world and Hitzeld is just class.

You guys and Bristol busted my coupon today, dodgy form lately.
-
I wouldn't have a problem waiting until then if there is no-one decent available at the moment. I think it would make the board look even worse from the situation than they do now and therefore won't go down that road.

Yes but Rozy, Cacapa & Enrique have been a waste of time, you could include Geremi in that as well. So 2 out of 6, not great is it? No, it's not great, but he didn't make a solitary 'decent' signing in midfield or attack. What you on about? Barton's been great when attacking.
-
I honestly can't think of anyone worse right now.

Portsmouth have officialy confirmed it all.
