  1. Except that there is no direct quotation from the fat one, so it's all just speculation at the moment, or am I just hoping in vain?

    Hatem Ben Arfa

Why wasn't he even on the bench?
  3. "You would have to say everything points to them winning but it's up to us to make sure we can turn that around." What kind of loser manager says that even before the game starts. I've never seen/heard of a manager so full of negative vibes and such a self defeatist loser!
  4. I'll take Man City or Chelsea winning the title over Liverpool any year any season easy. They are only top coz Man City have played 2 games less and their fans are already gloating that this will be their season and that Suarez is better than Messi and Cronaldo! Despicable set of fans!

This. It's silly to compare Robert and HBA when the two played under two different systems with two vastly different managers, one known for dynamic open attacking and the other dross boring defensive football.
  6. Am I the only person who thinks that the 100k is a farce and not true at all? I mean there's no way anyone can verify the payment is actually made. All we have is the club's statement and we all know how truthful that has been in the past. Mike and Pardew are the perfect fit for each other that I wouldn't be surprise if Pardew actually doesn't pay the fine or pays the fine but then the club returns the money through some sort of bonus or gratuity that nobody can detect. It's not like this amount is going to come out in the accounts or financial records. It's just a way for the club to claim mitigation when the FA decides on their own punishment. The truth is that there is nothing Pardew can do that will get him the sack except for openly questioning Mike's policies (which is why the pussy doesn't) and perhaps getting us relegated (even that's not a certainty).
  7. Apart from him saying the finances are good, he virtually says the same thing going into a transfer window only to end up looking like a tit what he reduces his wish list. He starts off wanting three or four players then more often than not goes into the last few days of a window saying we want or need one or two players, he's full of s***. That's not where it ends Mick. We then end up not getting any player except for maybe one on loan, and he'll then say that we have a strong enough squad and the fans should be thankful for this. The descent from we need a few players to nah our squad is strong enough is comical and makes him a complete bulshitting prick. Never thought I'd say this, but I now hate him more than Souness.
  8. Ronaldo still trying to defend his view that Moyes' appointment was correct. Next you will say that Fergie is god himself. Give it up man, it was a horrible appointment and he is the wrong man for this job. The evidence are staring in your face.

    Ronaldo

Only from idiots. I genuinely have no idea how people can still come to that conclusion. Ludicrous. And from Messi fanboys

To be honest Trollemarche, if all you're saying is that the press night not see Pardew as a failure full stop, not many I imagine would have taken you up on it. But then either intentionally or otherwise you defend this press view and say that you understand them (which kind of makes it your view too) and throw in some horse shit and argue that we have a sensible transfer policy and despite us only getting two loans over 2 transfer windows, and that our squad is now stronger then when we just got promoted (no shit). That's why you're getting barbs thrown at you not for the press bit. So no that's not all you're saying
  11. Forget the press, do you think Pardew is performing par the course?
  12. Puting aside your attempt at statistics deduction, tell me that based on what you've watched with you own eyes, that an even slightly better manager could not improve our league position especially given how the other teams around us are performing this year? You either won't have the guts to say that or like Mick said, you're nuts!
  13. Who's saying we should spunk 100M on a team? Also very odd that you'd prefer this situation where we don't buy players at all to improve our standing compared to splashing money to get 4th place and then having to sell those players on the cheap. Forget sustainable success, we're not even trying man!
  14. You would expect a manager not to have a go at the players after three consecutive buggerings? Ian, stop it. That is blatant man. The discussion is the recipient of the bollockings and not whether the manager should be having a go at the players. Every single time you twist the debate just to get some Pardew support in. I don't give a s*** what you think TBH, I'm saying that Pardew having a go at the players (including HBA and Marveaux and anyone else) is absolutely normal. Yes, maybe it is! But he should have a good f***ing look at himself and not just blame the players or whatever excuse he's had. Obviously, but I never implied he wasn't to blame as well. I know you didn't. But imo it's pointless to point it out as it's obvious to everyone that it's quite normal in general to blame the players a little bit from time to time. Except with Pardew as he seems to treat some players differently (single out etc). Sounds like you are trying to defend Pardew in the way that no one clearly can say you are defending him. OK, well it's a bit of a no-win situation when any criticism is allowed freely and any attempt to mitigate it is some sort of evil scheme by me to completely absolve Pardew of any blame. Perhaps because your mitigation is horse shit. Nobody is saying that Pardew should not tell off the players. After the 4 defeats, almost everyone accepts that board, management and players are all to be blamed (to different degree obviously). Your mitigation had nothing to do with a) Pardew lambasted 2 players in particular and that b) Pardew has never accepted any degree of blame on himself. So when you come out with irrelevant drivel like that coupled with your countess posts supporting Pardew, of course others are going to paint you as having an agenda. Seriously for those posting vehemently against Pardew, their motivation must the anger/frustration with our current predicament. What motivates you with your tons and tons of pro Pardew posts? Just to stand out by being contrarian? What motivates you?

This has the makings of Souness vs Robert all over again. HBA has his faults but will never forgive Pardew if he marginalizes HBA. He can fuck right off!

    José Mourinho

If you think an attack on Barcelona equals an attack on Spanish football, you've got a lot of reading of Spanish history to do.

Can we say that for all our players then? No movement around each other therefore all our players are all s*** like hba. Well yes that would generally apply to all attacking players, lack of movement affect their performance. The difference is most of our attacking players just pass it backwards or sideways which is why we have little attacking threat. HBA tries to do something, sees no movement, goes on a dribble of 2-3 players, and gets blame when it doesn't work out.

    José Mourinho

He did exactly the opposite at Real Madrid, particularly in his last year there. Always deflecting blame. Exactly. Wait till stuff doesn't go his way, it'll all be 'players who betrayed me etc' like last time he left Chelsea. I don't remember him saying much negative about Chelsea when he left. I thought both parties parted with dignified silence so much so that it was left to the journalists to speculate who betrayed who. One common trait about Mourinho's management of players is that they will go the extra level for him. Quite a few of his ex players from the likes of Carvalho, Drogba, Lampard, Sneijder, Materrazi, has testified he was the best manager they've played under.
  19. alpal78

    José Mourinho

Maybe because 'Mourinho's negativity' is based on counter attacking football which is ruthlessly efficient compared to Pardew back to the wall defensive shit coupled with a damp squid attack. For all their 'negativity', yesterday Chelsea had more shots on target than Man City. If you can't see the difference between the two, seriously just quit watching football.
  20. Where's Ian in all this? Been really quiet?
  21. Reckon our view of his level of gobshitery is skewed by the fact that we have to listen to his drivel every week, but this is a fair enough post. As said, if the team is doing well, nobody gives a f***. has this season not proved, at least on N-O, that this is not the case? That would depends on how you define "doing well". If you mean being dumped out of both cups early on and having nothing to look forward to except boring negative football and potentially a top 8th place, then yeah we're doing well.
