Hopefully Stoke will come up and make permanent their latest temporary acquisition.
-
It's a set of circumstances about as conducive to us getting a result as we could have hoped, will still be a very tough game mind. Could see any one of the three results occuring here.
-
I'd probably play Taylor assuming he's fit. He's the better player at the moment, and the better we do in these final few games the more momentum we will take into the close season. Would like to see Edgar getting involved from the bench as much as possible mind (i.e. when games are over).

I can't understand why Henry wouldn't be seen as a team player, he used to get a huge number of assists for the likes of Bergkamp, Kanu, Ljungberg and even more so Pires.
-
Can't understand why the idea of bidding for Deco seems to be coming in for almost universal praise whereas this idea is being treated with trepidation at best. I'd love Henry here, would be a hell of a statement.
-
Fwiw, I'd love to see Deco here, probably wouldn't offer Barcelona more than £8m though. His wages would cost a bomb to tempt him here, but I reckon it would be worth it.
-
I'd be surprised if Barca wanted £15m given that he isn't a starter.
-
Looked a more intelligent player than of late against Spurs, but more in the sense he was using his pace appropriately to pin them back. I've got a feeling his link up play will always be a bit hit and miss.

You almost gave me a heart attack today, had £50 on you to win, and I never put more than £10 on usually! And if you're sick of Arteta you should try some of our fecking midfielders. Don't come here with your whinging!
-
You're describing the team there, coincidence? Hard to say. Could say the same about a lot of players though.
-
He's flitted between good and terrible this season, very inconsistent. Looked very good in out mini resurgence though.
-
Maxi Rodriguez might be worth a shot, assuming that list is accurate.
-
Thank god for that. £50 on Everton at 1.37 on Betfair at the start.
-
I like him, bit injury prone though. He isn't all that young either (about 25 I think). Edit: 24 in August. Still younger than Beye but still a great back up! Maybe we could the best out of him? Would be a good signing for the squad imo. Can play a lot of positions and takes a decent set piece.

Charlie Nicholas is the best pundit that show has on by a good distance. I agree. Me too, I think he's pretty good. Everyone gets stuff wrong, but he doesn't seem to as much as the others. Doesn't strike me as being as arrogant as the likes of Thommo either.

Bearing in mind that David Bentley would be my top transfer target, personally, this is on the basis zoggy stays. So if he goes we need someone else and that makes a left sided player to be the direct replacement. If Bentley goes somewhere else then I suppose Lennon of SWP are the next best bet but we need one of those regardless I'd also be tempted to try Arteta if we're really going ambitious, very unlikely though. If he or Bentley were to come in for the RHS (perfect scenario) I'd do all I possibly could to keep N'Zog's pace on the left. Downing is pretty good but doesn't have the drive, and Lennon/SWP are both very one-footed. One of my main issues with the team at the moment is the lack of pace to pin an opponent back, so I would be loathe to lose even more this summer.
-
Yeah, I'd prefer us to keep N'Zogbia as well, but we need someone with pace and 'directness' on the wings. I'd probably go for SWP ahead of Lennon, but either would give us what we would lose (albeit on a different wing) if N'Zogbia left. If we were to play 4-4-2 and could pick a combiation of 2 of those 3 on the wings we'd be looking very good indeed....
-
I agree. I'd prefer we kept N'Zog, but it's looking less and less likely. They're both decent players at the moment with bags of potential and a very direct style. This post in particular Could easily be about either player. Both rough diamonds at the moment.
-
Wouldn't be bad business imo. I'd imagine Lennon would probably command more in the transfer market than Zog would these days.
-
He was fucking terrible here, absolutely shocking. I couldn't class him as "very good" for that reason alone. I suspect he revelled in the role of the underdog.
-
I reckon he just might work in a three man midfield. Would be nice to see him get a game or two before the season's out so we can have a look.
-
Apparently he picked up a knock with the French U21s, same reason he was missing at Spurs.

Kel's pretty good too tbf.
