Have to agree, if we got SWP in to replace Dyer we'd be far better served with SWP and Zog on the wings with Milner as backup.

Meaning we'd have Milner, Geremi, Solano and Malbranque all competing for one place. I'd rather have Murphy. Especially if there's a chance we'll go with 4-5-1. I'm fairly sure Malbranque frequently playing CM for Fulham. I'd definitely take him if that's right, because I always remember thinking he was their best player. EDIT: and Murphy's been utter shit since he went to Spurs. So not him.

i believe the rule was brought in to stop clubs taking someone on a free then selling them a couple of months later to just make a profit.the clubs complained so it got wtaered down . Bolton did exactly that with Hamaan! Got him in on a free and then off to Citeh a couple of weeks later for £400k.

What did they do that was against the rules exactly? the rule that a player cannot move twice in one season within the same country......yet he received "special dispensation" Hamaan went from 'pool to Bolton to Man City in a couple of weeks over the summer.
