Just missing a CB or two that are good on the ball. Burn being so slow before he coordinates his body into position to pass the ball somewhere results in our midfielders and other players having less time on the ball as the opposition have time to press and get into the correct shape and positions.

He’ll be fit, but not match sharp or super fit when it comes to a bigger pitch. Training is entirely different compared to making fast sprints over longer distances like on a full sized pitch where it’s non stop and longer runs. So fucking excited to see him. Patience, but he will be class within time. Think he will be good today already.

Stop being so stubborn. Walk away if there’s not a very very good chance of the deal getting done. Really hope we have other options possible. Hopefully this one gets done.

If we don’t get Guehi then the very “small pool of players” gets very very very small considering that not too many clubs will be wanting to get rid of important players this late, with not much time at all for a replacement. Hope it gets done.

My feeling is that Guehi is the shiny toy Howe wants, and he won’t be happy with any of the other ones on the shelves. Seriously though, I’m just saying this because I see quite a few blaming Eales and PM here and there. Having said that, I’d be shocked if PM didn’t have quite a few options as alternatives. Not looking very promising as of now on the whole.

Hypothetically speaking if we don’t get any players in. It’s not only about not strengthening and improving to become better and keep up/surpass other team’s businesses. It also cannot be underestimated how it can affect our current players already here. It makes sure to keep all the players happy, motivated as well as on their toes. That boost of new quality players feeds more good vibes and hunger into the whole squad. The mental aspect of it all is very important.

I’m at the point where I’m not even slightly expecting any sort of serious update or incoming Even though I think something could happen. Just not excited at all about incomings now as I’d normally be.

Not sure. Honestly wouldn’t surprise me if we fail go get a single player in.

We’re horrendously good at giving away possession time and time again in every damn way possible. Not sure how we have spent so much money and still struggle in this regard as often as we do. Today has been on a much worse level even.

It’s time for us to start showing that we can do it away from home again. The right mindset and play with conviction and control the game. Time to show we have the mentality and ability to control games away from home if we are to compete for top 4. Will be a tough game, but it’s more about us reaching the levels we can be! I want to see us look sharp and on our toes from the off.
