Overall in this game we we're poor generally, They had Fellaini out, we had Tiote, one of each teams very important players, but once we lost Cabaye AS WELL it's natural that they got a big advantage after that and had more posession, but they were still very poor imo and didn't create any clear cut chances really, the should had a penalty, but before Cabayes injury we were the better team. In the end we won it with some luck (penalty situation) and with our defence being better than their offensive play simply despite us loosing posession all the time due to the unwanted downgrade in midfield. Despite the players out for us, especially the second half i think we really weren't at our best today.

What i do like is that the players we target/have signed do have good technical ability, Pardew has mentioned this attribute along with pace pretty frequently if im not wrong. Along with background checks about attitude and mental strength and so on..

If he starts on the right i wouldn't mind Santon at RB as he's composed and very attacking, he could overlap when Marveaux cuts inside. Saying that i thought Simpson was very good against Stoke and will not be dropped, but this is a totally different game, if i could i would start Santon as i dont rate Simmo.

How's Diame been doing for Wigan? Thought he was very good against us, dunno about the other Wigan games. Going by his display against us i wouldn't mind him as cover. Was it Sewelly who mentioned him about his contract running out in the summer? Along with Montolivo, Hoilett and a few other quality players.

If Barca don't win it i think Bayern or Real will.

And these passengers made it to the champions league finals three times in the last four years? Barca are the best team in the world but Man Utd are a better team than Real. This season Real are much better than they've been for the last few years imo, and im pretty sure they're better than Man U this season.

Wouldn't want Sessegnon, Not even at the price they paid for him, erratic and overall no end product. Decent player with a few glimpses here and there, but wouldn't improve our team. We've got Ben Arfa who's twice the player when fit/sharp.
