He's always dangerous going forward, but I think the reason we never made a move might be because he doesn't really do any of the hard work stuff.

Think we will miss his distribution personally. He's not so great defensively any more but he's still a good footballer compared to Krafth.

We'll need big performances from Gordon and Murphy down those wings to get the best from Woltenade.

I actually like that he tries to bomb on the outside. It's not been that successful, but if players are scared of that, it makes coming inside now and again far more effective. Players like Barnes who aren't as effective going outside get shut down because everyone knows he is going to cut in.

I've probably mentioned it a few times in here but I can't get that image of Bruce standing giving instructions to a bunch of players and Schar is stood there looking at him with pure disgust.

I was sold on his highlights video. Obviously all highlights videos can make a player look outstanding, but the way he was swerving those deliveries in at pace would be a nightmare to defend. Tbh, even when he's not playing that well, he looks dangerous. Just his movement and attacking intent with his short passes opens up defences.

It was a genuinely terrible challenge, I was pissed off when it happened. Just no need for it. But with Big Joe the odd horrendous tackle comes as part of the package. When he tries to play football he can look surprisingly deft.

Great goal, there was a lot to do there, the ball was just chipped in, not many could have scored from that position.

His pressing was good though, that might have contributed to the result more than was apparent.

I'm liking the combo of him, Tonali and Ramsey. Lots of mobility across all three, think Big Wolt will enjoy that.
