Which if recent history is anything to go by, will be 19 year old promising youngsters who could well turn out to be the best thing since sliced bread...in a couple of years time.
-
Must have been trying to punch him in the cock then, because you certainly can't see Joelinton's hands anywhere near his face.
-
Worst fans of all the big clubs if you ask me, the most entitled, whinging bunch by a mile. Honestly don't know why anyone has ever compared them to ours, they think they have a god given right to trophies every season.
-
Must admit when I heard he had been sent off, I assumed he'd probably earned it, he can get a bit enthusiastic at times, but that is just criminal. If anything it looks like he's done his best not to react a lot sooner, and he's just trying to dislodge the arm pulling from that cheating cunt DePaul.
-
Yeah, as much as I'm sure they want us to do well, their primary purpose is going to be build their own league asap, and they aren't going to undermine it by loaning out their best players to other leagues.
-
Fucking hell, no wonder there are moves to try and put a stop to it. But still a bit snidey that clubs have only done this since the Saudi league took off.
-
Not even sure Wayne Rooney's wig made him look any younger.
-
Yes he really loves Newcastle, and that's what draws you to his writing, although I thought he got too matey with players and then found it difficult to criticise them during the dark days with Ashley. As Rich says though, for 83p a week you can't really say you are getting robbed even if his articles are all you read.
-
Think it's all a red herring anyway, I doubt any clubs outside of Saudi would want to be paying those sort of wages regardless of how good the player is. That's the main reason players went out there in the first place.
-
I'm sort of over George Caulkin, which is probably a bit unfair, he still writes the odd really good piece. Maybe if I was interested in their general football stuff like I used to be years ago, it would seem like a steal. But in reality I just read the Newcastle stories then mostly just ignore the rest.
-
I'm paying that as well but still feel dubious that it's actually worth it.
-
Any chance he actually is mid-30s and there's been a bit of licence with his birth certificate? It's not like it's unheard of.
-
Yeah but I agree on the other three. Joelinton, Longstaff and Almiron are good when we have our purples on the pitch, but without them they can't win matches on their own steam.
-
As long as Jackson remains their primary striker they'll continue to miss chances.
-
They have quality players in much bigger numbers so they can cover for injuries better than we can. They still don't look like they've found a consistent style of play though, wouldn't be surprised if they went on another bad run at some point.
-
Too many longstanding senior players are carried by our genuine class performers. Take Bruno, Wilson, Isak and Gordon out of the side and it's not that surprising that the oldies revert to Bruce-era form.
-
I'd rather it was triggered by Chelsea or Man City if it was such a big deal, so fuck that.
-
His are sticks out too much, and it's made worse as he always wears really tight pants. Or maybe his pants are so tight because his arse sticks out too much? Hmmm.
-
That was a glorious strike, would have been one hell of a goal. Obviously Howe is building up his confidence to have a go from that sort of range, he's had similar results from Miggy who could barely buy a goal pre-Howe.
-
It was a perfect strike wasn't it? Loved it.
-
Does anyone thing it was a coincidence that we had the midfield quartet of Bruno, Joelinton, Longstaff and Willock all in tandem again? I know Willock's not officially playing as a midfielder, but in reality he pitches in everywhere. Man U midfield was just basically hunted down.
-
When a team of reserves knocks two CL favourites out of a cup competiton then it has to have an effect on CL positions. This result will have a massive knock on effect for both us and our rivals.
-
Howe just knows how to spot the qualities of every player and bring them out. Dummett was always a good defender, Howe found a way to bring him into the side at exactly the right time when most of us were wondering why he was given a contract extension.
-
That was fabulous, but what was even better was to see him back in the left central area controlling the ball under pressure and linking up with Little Joe, Hall, Gordon and Almiron. Almost forgot what a dominant left side looked like.

It was a fantastic strike, placed it like a laser guided missile.
