  1. He started well then sort of disappeared. Maybe the occasion is just getting too big for him.
  2. Top players won't tolerate lack of quality if it's a recurring theme.
  3. Rush of blood and lack of composure is just lack of quality at the end of the day. These lads put in the work but they don't have killer instinct.
  4. I think we can say that about two or three starting today, but Willock is definitely a major culprit in this one.
  5. Not easy to go 100mph for 90mins, you really need to score when you get so many chances while dominating the game.
  6. Another poor strike from one of our less than blue chip players Murphy.
  7. Needs to go outside once in a while, like he did for the Longstaff chance. Too many times he's cutting inside into the pack of Man U players.
  8. These are the games when you need to put them in.
  9. Oh well, let's be positive. Maybe ASM and Murphy will do what they are out there for, produce the ammunition for Isak to blow Man U away.

  11. Feels like this is a game where we should have looked to dominate a midfield missing Casimero instead of sticking with the same team. I'm not convinced we've got this right.
  12. Moyes keeps West Ham limping along for a bit longer. Some of their fans were probably conflicted, must be a few who wish he would lose these do or die games just to get shot of him.
  13. Agree, could see West Ham and Brenda being a good fit. A club with a decent profile and not too big to create ambitions beyond his capabilities.
  14. I feel he has to produce a big game considering he's been trusted to start one of the pivotal games of the season. He's not pulled up any trees this season, and he's arguably keeping Joelinton out. Has to bring his A game to this one otherwise he's out IMO.
  15. Yeah that injury record doesn't look too clever unless we are getting him at a good price.
  16. Would have preferred to see Joelinton in against these, don't think he's a player who will offer much off the bench. I'd have had him in ahead of Longstaff.
  17. Potter put together an unfancied team playing some really good football. I'm sure he had good staff at Brighton, but it was still light years ahead of what some of his compatriots have produced down the years.
  18. I just think it would be a shame to have a thoughtful and intelligent English manager come a cropper without being given a proper chance when we've had to suffer insufferable PFMs like Allardyce, Pardew and Bruce for decades. Wasn't Howe written off a couple of years ago?
