  1. Which is no small feat considering the money spent by Liverpool and Chelsea in particular. It's frankly astonishing Frank.
  2. Yeah I was talking about 4th place tbh, that'll do me.
  3. Must admit I'm trying desperately hard not to hold onto that grudge against Unai for bottling the Newcastle job, but have to give him credit for doing a great job so far at Villa. Their fans must be in heaven after suffering self important dolts like Gerrrard.
  4. Would be a bit daft to ditch him if you ask me, he's done enough at Brighton to show he's a good coach, surely worth persevering with for a while longer. Still, I hope they do sack him since I would be quite happy to see Chelsea sink like a stone.
  5. Well this weekend couldn't really have gone much better so far. Just need to do the business ourselves tomorrow and we are going to be favourites for a top four finish I reckon.
  6. Yeah, you don't have to live bang in the city centre either, plenty of the surrounding locales will have something going for them in their own right.
  7. Something's gone badly wrong at Leicester. Feels like they have been relying too much on players with one eye on the exit door. And a manager who would probably have jumped ship at the first chance if any half decent club had shown interest.
  8. Maybe because Man U aren't an easy team to beat these days, but feels like if we can just get a decisive finish from one of our chances early on, this could definitely be on.
  9. It wouldn't really be panic, they've probably had their fill of him by now.
  10. Aye, just for being a smug cunt if nothing else.
  11. Really was hoping for a Brighton loss tbh, Brentford were never really going to threaten a top 4 finish, Brighton just might.
  12. I'll always be eternally grateful we are a one club city for this very reason. Sheffield are neither this nor that.
  13. I think this is probably the club thinking as well. He's not really done much this season when he has appeared, doesn't seem to scare the opposition anywhere like he used to, so not sure there will be enough interest to get us a fee which would be worthwhile. He used to look unplayable in some games, but that was probably down to crap managers like Lampard not knowing how to deal with him. Unless we get a decent wedge, might as well keep him as an impact sub if nothing else.
  14. He doesn't look too bad tbf, I was dreading seeing him having put on 2st with a gut hanging over his tracky bottoms.
  15. Liverpool's chances dealt a massive psychological blow today. First time in months I've felt confident we can finish above them.
  16. He's a fabulous player. He's paid his penance for besmirching Miggy's name, now he's earning the accolades good luck to him. Hopefully this will have been a lesson well learned, keep your trap shut and work on your own game.
  17. That should be psychologically terminal for Liverpool's CL chances.
  18. Wouldn't be surprised if he finds a way to get back into this mind, not the type to accept defeat lightly.
  19. I would imagine losing your two best strikers would be a big blow to your own morale, and also a massive boost to the bin dippers.
  20. Maybe a couple more to see if Liverpool can get a two goal cushion first.
  21. Just typical of our luck tbh.
  22. Barely been in English football for half a season and he's got the league sussed. Maybe he should learn some time wasting tactics when they play Liverpool, they might only lose 6-0.
  23. Nowt that a £6bn takeover can't wipe out.
