I did think he'd overplayed it, his touch was really bad so I can understand why the ref wan't sure about it. FWIW I intiially thought it wa a stone cold pen, but after viewing from different angles. fair play to the ref, I think he called it right. Not a clear decision to be made there.

Is that the genuine Mick Lowes? I used to really like him. Hope he's ok.
-
It's the view from behind the goal which puts a question mark on it.

When you are in the public sphere you have to know how to handle thick cunts with opinions. He can definitely do it, he understands that most fans love him.
-
He's great generally, just a really good footballer, just wish him along with a few other of our big lads could make better use of their height at set pieces. Ironically he's actually pretty good at using his head when defending.
-
Two things which make me doubt this 1. On a closer viewing it looked like he actually moved towards Pope. 2. He didn't even appeal for the pen which makes it look like he knew what he was doing.

Yeah it's a bit of a minging orange but still the wolves badge looks cool on it.

Wasn't that happy with the subs either, but fair play, Miggy was fantastic in the time he came on. Never saw him as a match winner off the bench before, but I think he needed to be dropped to be reminded that his job is to attack the opposition. He looked really aggressive when he came on, and that's down to Eddie for me.

One of the reasons we arenn't buying make do and mend players IMO, we really need to save our EPL limited funds for elite players, and they aren't that easy to land. But that's what we are aiming for.

Always had a soft spot for Wolves tbh, probably just because they play in orange shirts and have a cool badge, but anyway.
-
It's just nice not to have an alternative to Wilson tbh, we did need that badly.
-
Think he missed Joelinton big time, he sometimes gets done for pace when he's sitting deep, which is why I would prefer to see a genuine holding midfielder brought in so we can play him further forward. Just look at that piece of skill where he flicked the ball with his inside heel to set Miggy away for the Botman chance. That skill is priceless.

English refs are shit, but he's barking up the wrong tree there like. Cunt.
-
Made that same point in the match thread, but I guess you have to accept that when he can do so much potential damage. He shit all over Traore who quite a few were worried about today.
-
Aye he bossed us at Wembley. But I'm thinking with our regular midfield back in action, it might be a different story when we meet them again.
-
We'll need to be more on it than we were in the cup final. I think some of our players have lacked self belief in the recent games against big sides, but hopefully Isak, Willock and Joelinton back in the side will give our lads some of that pep we've been missing.
-
On the brightt side, if he was going to have a dodgy day, probably good that he got a lot of his gaffes out of his system in a game we won.
-
Glad to see him getting some love today, his end product isn't as good as we would like, but you are absolutely right that he was a vital cog in our winning streak. We were playing our best football when he was in the side for me, and he's only going to improve. Some of the stuff he does is outrageously good.
-
He's a weak link for me like, his touch isn't great, just don't think he's great at keeping possession under pressure. But he played a nice pass out for the winner so fair play.
-
The thing which stuck in my mind was the interview because he seemed so utterly confident in his own worth. Looked like he was pissed that he's not started more games if I'm honest, and I fucking love that.
-
Aye we made hard work of that, but I'll take it.

Our season lives on.

Fuck me Botman.

Really underrated IMO.
