He'll be 32 years old going into next season, his injury issues aren't going to get better and there's no real game situation I can think of where he wouldn't be handy for the last 30 minutes. If he's not happy with that and wants regular first team football then best of luck to him but surely a few years of being part of a squad chasing trophies is a preferable finish to his career than going back to playing for a midtable Premier League team like he has for most of his career?

Miley looks like the cover for Bruno IMO. Looks far more comfortable on the ball in tight spaces than Longstaff ever has. Added bonus if being able to play the more advanced roles but DM I'm our system looks like it might be his ideal role to me. I personally don't have any interest in a DM being bought and Bruno being played further forward. He's so critical to the way we play where he is and is getting better and better at the role. The way our midfield is set up also allows him plenty of license to get forward and influence things in the final third. The RCM role requires tremendous athleticism to make those runs into space and it's not a strength of his. He's also not looked great when he's got into decent shooting positions to be honest.

Not having that like, there was fuck all in it and there's a reason anyone trying to argue it was a red is showing a freeze frame instead of the actual footage. Of course you'll always get a few whoppers unable to see anything through anything other than the most biased of views but the insinuation that all of us are unable to view an incident on its merits is a bit shit, frankly.
