Ultimately we're probably looking at players like Joelinton to become to our squad what Murphy has been the last year or so. Not generally first choice when everyone is fit but going to play a lot of football over the course of a season due to his versatility and what he brings to the team combined with the type of character he is in the dressing room. It all depends on FFP though, really. If it's at all feasible to keep the entire squad together while signing a CB, a midfielder and an attacker then I'd love us to just do that.

In a vacuum, yes. But Almiron is basically our only player whose best position is RW and our depth on the wings is poor. We should be bringing someone in to compete with Miggy, not replace him in the squad. We have a bit more depth in the LCM position, where Joelinton and Willock are probably at their best. It's probably the position that Anderson is most suited to, too. I don't know... I'd like to go on record as saying I really don't want us to sell Joelinton or Willock. Just that I can see the logic if it allows heavy investment at some other positions.

If be very happy with him as the 25th man in the squad for the foreseeable future but if we can get 20m+ for him then I think it makes a lot of sense as it opens up a lot of FFP wiggle room. Have kind of had it in the back of my mind that there'd be an unpopular sale next summer to help with FFP. Kind of thought it might be Willock or Joelinton so if we can move on Murphy instead that seems like a win. Would still be sad to see him go though.

Arsenal Real Madrid Atletico Madrid Man City Barcelona Not a definitive list as little is settled but it would be a surprise of any of the teams in the second list don't win their groups. (They could also play Inter/Sociedad, hard to call how that group will go) But yeah, they'll be up for it against PSG IMO.

Depends on if we have European football and our outlook in the domestic cups. We're very light on players who can play in the front three, especially when you factor in our style of play and the injury record of Wilson and Isak in particular. Would be pretty disappointing to just repeat the exact same mistake we made going into the season by not adding anyone again.

Hoping to fuck for an influx of players in January and them being bedded in by the start of next season. Definitely taking some of the joy out of watching us this season when hoping players don't get hurt is one of the main parts of the game. As for today's line-up, will be interesting to see how Bruno and Miley line up. Miley looked good against Bournemouth, hopefully stays in that spot and we give Bruno more license to get forward.

I'm basically a male version of this Far better at 5 a side and such. Got a nickname for life out of my goalkeeping escapades but generally preferred being outfield. In retrospect, my best position for 11 a side was probably CB but never played there as I was a reasonable CF.
