I think he'd do well to commit to turning himself into an absolute unit physically. Go live with Joelinton for a year or some shit. I think he'd have the makings of a very good #8 once he's filled out a bit more.

Left side of Burn and Anderson was always going to be a bit grim in terms of creating anything. It's a decent result and was very encouraging second half performance. Gordon being out was very fucking annoying, I do think there's a player in Anderson but it absolutely isn't as a wide forward. Really felt we needed another wide man in summer and unfortunately with Barnes and Joelinton injured we're really feeling it.

He's absolutely a weapon on those high balls to the far post, good to see him getting forward and almost get another goal.

I think he'll get better and better, you can see he's not on the same wavelength as the others. We could do with getting Joelinton and Willock back for that LCM spot and let Tonali rotate with Longstaff in RCM. Do think he was a bit half hearted trying to block the equaliser though, must say. You'd expect a lot more from an all action, physical midfielder like him.

Delighted for him but also a bit gutted, deserved to be the match winner today.

I had him down as likely being upgraded in summer 2025 but could be next summer. He and Burn really do limit our ability to play it out confidently from the back.

Seems to be the line now that he's looking brilliant there. Felt like all summer we were hearing about how he'd be a complete liability in pressing and that we'd cooled on him.

We also see the problem with Burn playing LB in games like this. He's absolutely useless going forward. That one time that Isak beat a couple of people and played it to Burn in an advanced position was tragic, there was just no chance he was going to be able to do anything.

This system doesn't work when we need to break teams down. Needs to have a change up but I don't recall us ever starting in anything other than 4-3-3.

I suspect because Anderson doesn't really offer anything from wide? Need Wilson ok at half time. Either leave Isak left or go two up top.

I can see Minteh ultimately replacing Miggy in the squad, maybe give him another loan year next season and then bring him back. Summer 2025 Miggy will be 31 years old and going into the last year of his deal, seems a fair chance that'll be when he moves on.

Reckon Rashford can pretty consistently be a really good part of a top team, scoring 15 or so goals a season from a wide position. You don't really want him being your main go to creative force in the build up though, and Man U seem to have to ask him to do that a bit much as the rest of the team looks pretty disorganised and shite.
