  1. I think his attempts at motivation are the problem tbh. His man-management skills (something which I commended him for the season we finished 5th) have greatly declined too and that is yet another factor imo. Guess his own ego gets in the way as well. He also pretty much keeps the wrong players happy and risks alienates other players (ie. the Taylor/Yanga-Mbiwa selection issue).
  2. Once again, we did not look at all fired up for a Tyne-Wear Derby and that is again one of the factors on why we lost yesterday - the mackems, to their credit, wanted it a lot more than us. I simply can't fathom why Pardew can't motivate our players for this occasion, he's been here for 3 years + now and last season's 3-0 loss and this season's 2-1 loss hurt a lot of people so surely he can see the importance of this fixture? Guess it doesn't help that his negativity knows no bounds really, why he decided to go with the long ball tactic in the first half is simply a mystery and quite frankly idiotic. Bottling twat.
  3. It takes some f***ing skill to lose 3 consecutive Derbies (and to look second best in each of them). Well done you f***ing c***. Fuck right off.
  4. I'm going to this This confirms that I'm crazy and a bit of masochist. Me =
  5. 9 pages long? What an anti-climax today has been. I suppose Jim White tried to make it more exciting than it actually was?
  6. ^Right on cue with my post. What utter shambles.
  7. Bet they've got the official club statement ready to send already.
  8. 8 o' clock with Natalie big jugs. Boom.
  9. Sweepstake on who will get sent off for is tomorrow? I say Taylor on 25 minutes (sorry everyone, I'm not confident of a win at all).
  10. Not watching SSN atm, when's Jim White on?

    This is what confidence does.
  14. Canny news, all the best to him and I hope he does well here (we need him to really).
  15. Goodbye Yohan. You will be sorely missed, thanks for all the memories! This is gutting news, this is a player we should have built our team around but unfortunately as long as we are owned by that fat c*** (and to some extent managed by the egotistic idiot), we'll never be a side challenging for honours. I have no ill feelings towards Cabaye for deciding to leave, he is going to be better off with a club that can match his ambitions. Wish we could have given him a proper goodbye but alas that's football. All the best Yohan, I shall admire you when you're playing in Brazil this summer.

I want to get excited by this but the cynic in me tells me this will amount to nothing. (Obviously I'll be delighted if we do sign Grenier).

Was a great first half performance from him. Faded rather badly halfway through the second half though. Still though, I was impressed, was very direct and positive in his play.
  18. A mackem side full of confidence vs us losing our best player days before the end of the transfer window. Logic dictates that the team full of confidence will have the edge...
  19. Yay, 2 points dropped. Our top goalscorer suspended and Ben Arfa potentially injured. Fucking bullshit.
  20. I'm happy about this, it has to be said, we do need a forward like him up top but the same time this potential transfer doesn't take away the crap feeling of losing Cabaye. Still, will welcome him with open arms...
